Among the 145 enterprises, 56 central enterprises account for 39%; 38 state-owned enterprises account for 26%; private enterprises account for 19%; joint-stock enterprises account for 8%; 9 Taiwanese enterprises account for 6%; 3 Hong Kong enterprises account for 2%.
Compared with last year, the top 500 Chinese private enterprises have added many new companies this year, such as BYD and SF , which are all on the list for the first time.
These 27 private enterprises are from high to low according to their revenue: JD , Alibaba , Hengli Group, Zhengwei Group, Huawei , Tencent , Country Garden , Pacific Construction, Rongsheng Holdings , Shandong Weiqiao Entrepreneurship, Gely Holdings , Qingshan Holdings , Shenghong Holdings , Midea Group , Hengyi Group , Xiaomi Group , Shagang Group, Sushang Construction Group , New Hope Group , Beijing Jianlong Heavy Industry, Hebei Jingye Group , Longfor Group, BYD, SF Express, Xinjiang Guanghui , Hailiang Group , Shanghai Delong Steel.

1. Revenue.
The top 500 private companies on the list in 2022 were US$1702.862 billion, of which JD.com had the highest revenue, with revenue reaching US$147.526 billion in 2021, and the lowest was Shanghai Delong Steel Group, with revenue of US$30.343 billion. There are four companies with revenue of more than US$100 billion in
. In addition to JD.com, including Alibaba, Hengli Group and Zhengwei Group, all have revenue of more than US$100 billion. There are 12 companies with revenues between US$50 billion and US$100 billion.
2. Profit.
The total profit of these 27 private world 500 companies reached US$102.616 billion, of which Tencent had the highest profit, with its profit reaching US$34.854 billion in 2021; while only two companies had a profit of more than US$10 billion. In addition to Tencent, Huawei's profit was US$17.622 billion.
Except for Tencent and Huawei, the profits of other companies are below US$10 billion, and most of them are below US$5 billion. Among them, JD.com ranked last among all the Fortune 500 private enterprises with a loss of US$550 million.

5 companies in Shenzhen: Zhengwei International, Huawei, Tencent, BYD and SF Express; of course, in addition to these companies, there is actually another Fortune 500 company in Shenzhen, that is, Evergrande .
, however, Evergrande encountered some special circumstances last year, so they did not apply for the Fortune 500 companies. However, if Evergrande's revenue last year, it can actually be on the Fortune 500. From the distribution of these private enterprises, there are 5 companies in Shenzhen and Hangzhou on the list at the same time, which shows that the strength of private enterprises in Zhejiang and Shenzhen is indeed relatively strong, and there are also 4 in Beijing on the list, whether it is a central enterprise, a state-owned enterprise or a private enterprise, the overall strength is very strong. In addition, 2 to 3 companies in Suzhou, Foshan, Urumqi, and Shanghai on the list, and this strength is OK.
In addition, Nanjing and Guangzhou actually have potential private enterprises in the world's top 500, including Nanjing's Suning.com and Guangzhou's Cedar Holdings , are all potential top 500, but they have not applied for it.
Of course, in addition to the 27 private enterprises mentioned earlier, there are actually 12 joint-stock enterprises among the companies listed.
Some of these companies were originally private enterprises, but after the equity changes, they became relatively complex enterprises.
