On May 1 local time, the Greek COVID-19 vaccination appointment platform began to be officially opened to people aged 45 to 49. People of this age can book four new crown vaccines, namely Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
According to reports, Greek people can make appointments through the emvolio.go.gr official platform or go to the Citizen Service Center (KEP), or enter the social security registration number (AMKA) at the pharmacy. Those who make successful appointments will receive relevant information through mobile phone text messages and determine their appointment application within 24 hours.
According to health officials, the Greek government will clarify in early May when it will provide more vaccines to people aged 40 to 44.

The third phase of the Greek vaccination program will be officially launched from May 5. With more vaccination centers open, the Greek government aims to complete 2.5 million doses of vaccination in May, and the vaccination volume will reach 4 million doses in June.
It is reported that Pfizer will deliver 2.15 million doses of vaccines in Greece in May and 2.425 million doses of vaccines in June. Meanwhile, Greece will receive 354,000 doses of vaccine from Moderna in May and 308,000 doses in June. In addition, Johnson & Johnson will deliver 300,000 doses of vaccine to Greece in May, and Greece will receive another 960,000 doses of vaccine in June.
