There is always a shortage of "political clown shows" on the island's elections. In the past, various candidates have conducted some "political gimmick shows" in internal affairs in order to attract votes. However, this year, there has been a "unhealthy trend", which regards cross-strait conflict as a "war show" and attempts to mislead the Taiwanese people with a biased concept of "war is just a game", which is very worrying.
The recent "war show" on the island was not the candidate, but the founder of a large enterprise, Cao Xingcheng, former chairman of UMC , and a group of "independence" political, religious and academic groups.
training 3 million "Black Bear Warriors" to protect Taiwan?
Among them, Cao Xingcheng claimed that he would invest 1 billion yuan ( New Taiwan Dollar , the same below) to launch two action plans. One is the "Protecting Township Shooting - Taiwan Anti-Invasion Live Bullet Shooter Training Project", with the goal of training 300,000 "civilian Shooters"; the second plan is to train 3 million "Black Bear Warriors" who actively assist regional defense within three years, and can cooperate with military soldiers to form a "civilian defense" without loopholes.
Cao Xingcheng called out that the "Black Bear Academy" sponsored by him was very enthusiastic in the first phase of the course registration, and the quota was full. Shen Boyang, the founder of "Black Bear Academy", said that after Cao Xingcheng injected funds, he will continue to recruit more seed lecturers and urgently add more courses. The goal is to allow 200,000 people to take physical courses and add online courses to continue to train 3 million "Black Bear Warriors" to assist regional defense within three years.
As for the course teaching, Shen Boyang said that it includes cognitive combat, modern military, basic rescue and refuge practices, learn modern war knowledge in a simple and easy-to-understand way, introduce cognitive combat and information warfare techniques, and provide general public resistance strategies. He hopes that the people will not panic when facing war. At the same time, he also begins to plan more advanced courses to strengthen people's civil defense and mental defense.
In the past, the Taiwan military has always advocated "national defense". Although it is not necessary to achieve the concept that everyone is a soldier, the military's actions are at least formal and professional operations. However, the teaching courses known as the "Black Bear Academy" seem to be not formal military training, but an sensational operation mode. In the end, 3 million "Black Bear Warriors" may not be able to be trained, but 3 million trained trainees were misled to realize that war is just a game, allowing them to "evil is born to the courage", deliberately encouraging the people to provoke the sensitive crisis nerves of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
This situation can be seen from a poll released by the Taiwan International Strategic Society on September 4 that is worth worrying. The poll conducted large-scale military exercises surrounding Taiwan in the Taiwan Strait from August 4 to 7, asking the public that most people were not worried about whether the PLA would attack Taiwan through exercises, with a proportion of 66.4%, while only 30.2% of people expressed concern. In fact, what it reflects is that everyone thinks that Taiwanese people have no idea that military exercises are the prototype of war, which is the aftermath of treating war as a game. So when asked again that after the military exercises, the DPP authorities still invited politicians from other countries to visit Taiwan, which may anger the mainland to strengthen military exercises against Taiwan. However, even in the face of the anger of the mainland, 52.9% of the people expressed support for whether overseas political leaders should continue to be invited to visit Taiwan, while 36.3% of the people did not support it. This public opinion reaction made the DPP authorities even more frightened and continued to invite European and American political leaders to visit Taiwan in a high-profile manner.
"Edge of War" game produces dangerous signals
It can be said that the DPP authorities have tasted the sweetness of victory from the strategy of "anti-China and protecting Taiwan", so the more likely it is to have cross-strait conflicts, the more they have to try it. This "Edge of War" game has the impact, and the Taiwanese people seem to care less and less about war. This is the most dangerous signal. In addition to the gimmick show of the "Black Bear Academy", some Taiwanese civil society groups have launched the "candidates should sign a letter of commitment to surrender" campaign, calling on all nine-in-one local election candidates to clearly express to the world the promise of "defending Taiwan, fighting against aggression, and never surrender."
This is a joint statement issued by the "independence" Taiwan Presbyterian Church, Taiwan Professors Association and other militia groups. They believe that the poll shows that more than 70% of the Taiwanese people are willing to defend Taiwan and call on all candidates to sign a "No-Surrender Commitment Letter", and will announce the intentions of candidates of various political parties two weeks before the election to provide voters with reference.
This statement said that more than 70% of Taiwanese people are willing to defend Taiwan, but in the poll conducted by the Taiwan International Strategic Society on September 4, as many as 75.0% of the people believe that the cross-strait should maintain "peaceful exchanges", and only 18.2% of the people believe that "resisting China and protecting Taiwan." There is a huge gap in attitudes between the two, which completely denies the statement of "independence".
It can be seen that the people of Taiwan are peace-loving, especially their expectations for cross-strait peace are quite high. Unfortunately, Taiwan’s voices of peace are often attacked by the Democratic Progressive Party as “surrenderism”, so that those who are brave enough to advocate peace will either be smeared or smeared, so that the voices of peace cannot be expressed in Taiwan.
The most important thing is that peace lovers are generally unwilling to please the masses with "peace show", which leads to the voice of "main war" within Taiwan, which seems to be higher than the voice of "main peace". So whether the "war show" will overplay it will make the mainland misunderstand the "war" of Taiwanese people and make the crisis situation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait higher and higher is the most worrying thing.
I hope the voice of the "war show" will not overwhelm the voice of peace and cause extreme confrontation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. This really requires praying for "God bless Taiwan"!
