Yuanyang Hani Terraces Cultural Landscape is located in the south of Ailao Mountain in Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province. The landscape was listed on the World Heritage List in 2013. The "four-element isomorphic" ecosystem model of forests, villages, terraces and water systems has been recognized by the world and has a history of more than 1,300 years. Yuanyang County has 190,000 mu of Hani terraced fields. The terraced fields here are all cultivated on the hillside. Fuxian Lake, a plateau lake located in Chengjiang City, Yuxi City, is the largest deep-water freshwater lake and an important strategic backup water resource in my country. It is the largest lake at the source of Pearl River . It has a water storage capacity of 20.6 billion cubic meters, accounting for 9.16% of the total freshwater storage in the country and 91.4% of the total freshwater in the country, and is listed as one of the eight pilot projects for ecological environment protection of lakes with good water quality and a national focus on ecological environment protection of rivers and lakes.
