As the core dissemination of Midu Lantern Festival, Mizhi Lantern Festival has been passed down for nearly 1,400 years since the early Tang Dynasty. Under the lush Phoenix Mountain, the Ancient Tea-Horse Post Road on Wensheng Street is more than 800 meters long. The winding stone roads and the old houses on both sides of the ancient street seem to tell people the prosperous past where merchants gather and horse gangs shuttle.
As early as the Nanzhao period of the Tang Dynasty, Mizhi Wensheng Street was an important post station in the "Kainan Ancient Road" on the "Ancient Silk Road".
