Wang Jing, "post-80s", Secretary of the Youth League Committee of General Technology Group, Member of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and Representative of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Youth League. He served as the secretary of the Youth League Committee of General Technology Group in 2010. From a Young Pioneer, a member of the Communist Youth League to a young cadre engaged in the party’s youth work, she realizes her self-worth in the “Life Trilogy” of pursuing political progress. "Chinese Youth": On May 10, the conference to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Communist Youth League was grandly held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. You listened to the General Secretary’s important speech on the spot. What are your feelings?
Wang Jing: is honored to be able to listen to the important speech of the General Secretary on the spot. For a Youth League cadre, this is the supreme glory, and it is also a heavy mission and responsibility. I come from a central enterprise. As the eldest son of the Republic, the central enterprise has always been an important position for the Party to unite and lead the vast number of aspiring young people to seek happiness for the people and rejuvenate the nation in the century-old journey of the founding of the League. General Secretary pointed out, "Realizing the Chinese Dream is a historical relay race, and contemporary young people must strive for the first place on the track of realizing national rejuvenation." Looking back at the development history of General Technology Group , it is the youthful journey of generations of General Technology youths and the Party. In the great cause of rejuvenating the country, General Technology Youth introduced "156" key projects, overcame various blockades and difficulties, developed the first lathe , drilling machine , boring machine , produced the first drill bit, caliper, and precision measuring instrument, built the top ten buildings in New China, solved the people's clothing problem, ensured medical care in key industries, and made the machine tools printed on the RMB, so that the metal national emblem shone brightly on the Tiananmen Gate Tower. Entering the new era of reform and opening up and socialism with Chinese characteristics, young people with general technology independently developed high-end CNC machine tools, conquered the new materials of green fiber , led the development of automobile safety technology, bravely went against the trend in the fight against the epidemic, served in the construction of Winter Olympics, sweat along the "Belt and Road", wrote the most beautiful youth in the picture of rural revitalization, and polished the background of state-owned enterprises with loyalty and faith.
Today's general-tech youth draw wisdom and strength from the century-old valuable experience of the Communist Youth League, listen to the Party and follow the Party, adhere to their ideals and beliefs, and devote themselves to national rejuvenation. They proclaim the spiritual slogan of "It is better to behave better than to shout without a sound", shoulder the corporate mission of "leading a better life with scientific and technological progress and quality service", and show the style of the times of "sunshine and self-confidence, loyalty and responsibility, diligent study and moral cultivation, and practical innovation". "Chinese Youth": You should have participated in the work of the Communist Youth League for more than 20 years. Please tell me about your origin and experience. How many delegation congresses have you attended?
Wang Jing: has been working in the League for more than 20 years. The Communist Youth League is the power of truth and the taste of faith to me, which has made me experience and grow and gain joy. I was filled with emotion when listening to the General Secretary’s teachings in Great Hall of the People again. I remember 20 years ago, on the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, as a representative of college students, I attended the commemorative conference at the Great Hall of the People, and also participated in a shocking performance at the China Theater as a participant. At that time, I remembered the eight-character school motto of "seeking truth from facts and being energetic", which motivated me to keep moving forward. In June 2013, I was elected as an alternate member of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and was added to the member two years later. These five years have allowed me to understand the work of the Communist Youth League from a higher position and a higher level, and to have a deeper understanding of my noble cause of engaging in youth work for the Party. Later, as a representative, I attended the 18th National Congress of the Communist Youth League and listened to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the conference to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. This more than ten years of work experience has made me deeply feel that the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has placed youth work in an important position in governing the country, and deeply felt that General Secretary Xi Jinping personally cared about the growth and development of young people, personally planned the development of youth work, and personally deployed the reform of the Communist Youth League from the strategic height of the party's cause. At the same time, the Party Group of General Technology Group has also resolutely implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, guided in direction, inspired in ideas, and supported in work, focused on "building" and "leading", continuously revitalized the vitality of grassroots youth organizations, and formed a good situation in which General Technology Group leads the Youth League and promoted party building. In 2020, the Youth League Committee of the Group was awarded the title of " National May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee ". At that moment, I was extremely happy and satisfied. I also felt that this was encouragement and spur, which inspired us to continue and permanently strive.
At the meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, the General Secretary’s words to the League cadres were particularly touching. A mirror set up in my heart to compare myself with what I need to maintain and carry forward as a League cadre in the new era, and what I need to work hard on. I think, in particular, we must keep in mind the four important hopes and instructions of the General Secretary, forge a political character of loyalty to the Party, be more young friends, plan more for young people, and make more youth work; in particular, we must implement the four keywords of "leading", "organization", "connection" and "following" in place, and get along with the majority of young people, and be a Youth League cadre who reassures the Party and satisfys the youth.
"Chinese Youth": General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the Communist Youth League must persist in educating people for the Party and always become a political school that leads the ideological progress of Chinese youth. You are some popular practices among young people in leading the youth league organizations in your company to lead the ideological work of youth. Please tell me the story.
Wang Jing: Young people all have the need to pursue progress, and this is especially true for young people in central enterprises. Under the leadership of the Party Group of the Group and the Youth League Committee of the Central Enterprises, General Technology Group puts political nature first, and what the Party flag points to is what the League flag is. League organizations at all levels carry forward the glorious tradition of "the Party has a call and the League has action". In the theme education of " two studies and one practice ", "Never forget the original aspiration and keep the mission in mind" and the party history learning and education, combined with thoughts, leading this fundamental function of the Communist Youth League, we have carried out a series of activities such as "Youth Great Learning", "The Most Beautiful Youth of Struggle", "General Technical Model, Forge ahead" from three aspects: ideal and belief education, situation and task education, and central enterprise spirit education, we take " Youth Home ·Learning Society", Youth Lecture Hall, Jinggangshan and Yan'an Ideal and Belief Training Class as normalized positions. Through concentrated learning, special lectures, and situational teaching, we promote the Party's innovative theories among young people, promote the core socialist values, and guide young employees to participate in the reform and development of the enterprise. We organize a special youth symposium every May. The main leaders of the Party Group will lead young people to follow up and study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, messages to young people, and reply to young people in a timely manner. We take the " Qingma Project " and "Youth Spiritual Literacy Improvement Project" as important measures, and grasp the "youth soul" with both wings, and place the cultivation of young Marxists and young political backbones in an important position in the cultivation of corporate talents, leading the vast number of young people to improve their political judgment, political understanding, and political execution, and enhance the ambition, backbone and confidence of being a Chinese.

You have some solid practices in leading the youth league organizations in your company to lead the struggle of young people. Please share them with you.
Wang Jin: The work of the Youth League of China has always revolved around the central work of the Party, and young people have the opportunity to integrate their youth struggle into the cause of the Party and the people. In the fight against the epidemic, the Youth League Committee called on young people to join the main battlefield of the fight against the epidemic. More than 400 youth commandos were charged forward, mask machine, , protective clothing fabric production, medical emergency supply, square cabin hospital supply... Our youth were charged forward and bravely reversed. At the end of January 2020, Mei Ding, a nurse born in the 1990s, learned that the department was insufficient, so she took the initiative to ask for a fight from Kunshan, Jiangsu to Henan and then to Xiaogan, Hubei to return to the hospital. The 27-hour round trip moved many people and the train stopped for her for one minute in Xiaogan, Hubei, which moved countless people. "Post-90s" nurse Jin Yu went from Anshan, Liaoning to Wuhan, Hubei. When she recalled the difficult days in the ward of ICU , she said: "I have never given up on my belief - I have won the final victory in this war without gunpowder, take off my mask to welcome the most beautiful self!" In the fight against poverty and rural revitalization, the Youth League Committee organized and mobilized grassroots Youth League organizations and Youth League cadres to go to the countryside for in-depth research, so there were more than 30 "school-enterprise joint construction of the Youth League Organization", more than 30 "Love Bookstores" in various schools in Shangdu County, 60 young volunteer teachers we helped introduce, 60 youth volunteer teachers, the county magistrate of the Youth League cadres who brought goods, the e-commerce platform for Sui Jinhui poverty alleviation products and smart classrooms... These are the most real and urgently needed resources in the county, and have also become the stage for the youth of the group to bloom in the places where the party and the people need it.Young cadre Chen Yao went to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Commercial Capital to work, and secretly made up his mind to "see the county get rid of poverty and the people live a good life". With the "can't let go" of local cadres and the masses, he applied for postponement twice, and insisted on poverty alleviation positions for more than 5 years. At the forefront of scientific and technological research, we have organized the Youth Innovation Forum for four consecutive years, organized 6 academic salons for young doctors, and created 19 youth innovation studios to give innovation and effectiveness wings to young people's growth. The team of strugglers from the Machine Tool Research Institute, composed of 18 young scientific and technological backbones, takes the research on common technologies such as CNC machine tool performance and reliability test as the main focus. It insists on combining theory and practice, boldly explores, continues to innovate, constantly overcomes difficulties and solves key core technical problems, and has undertaken and participated in more than 40 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and has won 35 national and provincial and ministerial awards, including 2 second prizes for national scientific and technological progress. In the construction of the "Belt and Road", we care about the work and life of overseas youth, established overseas youth homes, carried out the EAP psychological care plan, organized the youth international style competition, and encouraged them to showcase the professional style of Chinese youth on the international stage. An overseas youth collective was rated as the "National Youth Civilization Special Recommended Collective", and a group of outstanding young people have experienced and grown up in a difficult overseas environment. Zhang Huibo, a young party member born in the 1980s, has been staying overseas for 13 years and has become a "pioneer". From the company's first overseas coal-fired power station project, to the first overseas gas engine power station project, to the first overseas investment and construction project; from an ordinary salesperson, to the company's youngest large overseas project manager, to the national labor model , what has changed is his different identities in participating in the project, and what remains unchanged is a model image of a young man in the new era who pursues progress wants to do things, can do things and get things done.

Wang Jing: is in harmony with young people. My experience is that we must truly understand and confirm the real needs of young friends, including the needs of young people for growth and development, as well as the needs of young people for work and life. I remember when the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League proposed the "1+100" youth league cadres' contact system, I felt full of confidence because I knew that there were more than 100 young people directly contacted on my mobile phone. I always believe that the League’s activities “make quality products when done, and achieve practical results when done.” Faced with the diversified needs of young people, only by making the young people “deserve this trip” can the next “perfect appointment” be achieved. Every time I organize youth activities, it is also an excellent opportunity for me to know and discover grassroots youth. I will try my best to participate in the activities as much as possible. "Training with competitions" allows young people to learn and grow through participating activities. At the same time, I also try to establish "small files" for young people participating in the activities, remembering their names, positions, career characteristics, hobbies, specialties, personality characteristics and special needs. After the Group Youth International Style Competition, we formed an international youth talent pool of 54 people and submitted it to the Human Resources Department; after the "Youth Horse Class" training, we formed a complete set of student files for each person and submitted them to the Party Group. At the same time, I also have a "single young friends group" and a "big memory" that records "small files". Whenever a young friend talks to me when encountering difficulties in life, whenever the person introduced me successfully sees a single young man holding hands, whenever the leader and organization department ask me to recommend outstanding young cadres, say, "Young people in the group are the most familiar, understand the situation the most, and know the most in your heart." I am extremely honored and proud.
