Since the new round of Jiangsu-Shaanxi poverty alleviation cooperation was launched in October 2017, Liyang Chenxi Public Welfare has actively participated and taken active actions, widely raised funds, and successively built Chenxi Paradise in Kuanping Village, Zhongchang Town, Baihe County, and built two high-standard playgrounds in Daping Primary School and Zhongchang Primary School in Zhongchang Town. Taoyuan Primary School in Maoping Town, Baihe County is the largest township complete primary school in the county, with a history of more than 70 years. The school currently has 16 teachers and 270 students. Since the new teaching building was built in 2017, the runway was damaged and unusable. The school plans to expand the sports field, but due to lack of funds, it has not been implemented.
Huang Huiping told reporters: "At the beginning, we were going to donate a batch of aid materials to Taoyuan Primary School. But during the exchange with the principal, he told us that 'the lack of daily necessities can be overcome. We hope that the donation will be kept in real terms and serve more students', which strengthened our determination to do this project well." After receiving the application for donation from Taoyuan Primary School, Chenxi Charity immediately conducted a detailed investigation and formulated a project implementation plan.
After a month of intense construction, a playground covering an area of 1,843 square meters and integrating plastic basketball courts, badminton courts and runways was presented to all the teachers and students of Taoyuan Primary School. On October 22 this year, the unveiling ceremony of the "Chenxi Playground" of Taoyuan Primary School assisted by the Liyang Chenxi Charity Federation was held at Taoyuan Primary School. At the same time, the Maoping Town Primary School Basketball Competition kicked off, and the students enjoyed the fun brought by basketball on the new playground.
