In terms of county and city distribution, New Taipei City still has the largest number of 8,840 cases, followed by 5,789 cases in Taichung City, 4,672 cases in Taipei City, 4,570 cases in Taoyuan City, 3,986 cases in Kaohsiung City, and 2,807 cases in Tainan City.
In addition to the relaxation of the "border" policy, the "7+7" isolation policy for confirmed cases is also ready to be relaxed. After discussion at the expert meeting, it was proposed that the independent health management will be implemented 7 days after the study and the negative test can be lifted in advance by using one household quick screen. It is expected to be announced and implemented next week.
"Command Center" pointed out that 50 new local deaths today were 31 males and 19 females, aged between the 40s and over 90s. They are all severely infected, 46 have a history of chronic diseases, and 34 have not received more than three doses of the new crown vaccine .
