After preliminary investigation: Huitong Community Health Service Center in Qiaoxi District, Shijiazhuang City is a private medical institution purchased by the district government. The vaccines obtained in the center are all delivered by the district disease control center and are of qualified quality. The central vaccinator mistakenly vaccinated a child with Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine (HIB) as a penta-linked vaccine, which is true. The center's vaccination work is irregular and the management is chaotic.
In view of the above-mentioned problems in the vaccination work of the center, the Qiaoxi District Committee studied and decided that would dismiss Gu Wenjun, director of the District CDC, and the District Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision will conduct a case review; the Party Group of the District Health and Family Planning Bureau dismissed Huang Huiran, the head of the Immunization Planning Section of the District CDC, and gave the punishment of reducing the job level ; the District Health and Family Planning Bureau has ordered the Huitong Community Health Service Center to suspend business and rectify, suspend vaccinated personnel, undergo investigation, seal existing vaccines, retain evidence , and conduct detailed investigations by the public security and health supervision departments. Qiaoxi Public Security Bureau has filed a case against Wei Jingli, the head of Huitong Community Health Service Center, for suspected crimes, and taken criminal coercive measures in accordance with the law.
Vaccination is an important means to prevent infectious diseases, which is related to the physical health, family happiness and social stability of children. This work should be done with a high sense of responsibility. We deeply apologize for the harm and losses caused to vaccinated children and parents by the Center's mis-vaccination incident. Regarding the suspected vaccine being dropped, on January 31, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Shijiazhuang City, issued a situation report saying that on the morning of January 30, a vaccinated doctor at the Huitong Community Health Service Center of Qiaoxi District, Shijiazhuang City mistakenly used the HIB vaccine as a penta-connected vaccine when vaccinating a child. After the situation occurred, the provincial, municipal and district health departments immediately organized personnel to conduct an investigation. After investigation, it was found that all vaccines from the community health service center were received and purchased from the district disease control center. The purchase channels were formal and there were no quality problems with the vaccine. In response to the problem of irregular vaccination registration in the center, the public security and health departments are conducting further investigation and handling.
