China Taiwan Network February 27th According to Taiwan's United Daily News, the 70th anniversary of the "228 Incident" this year, the "legislators" of the green camp once again set off a climax of "de-Chianghua" and proposed to demolish the bronze statue of Chiang Gong in the camp and campus. For a long time, the "Green Committee" has also pointed at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall , and often ridiculed the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall as the "Chung Kai-shek Temple" and demanded that the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall be renamed or transformed into a museum of the resigned leader.
On the eve of this year's "228", the "Minister of Culture" Zheng Lijun of the Taiwan authorities announced that he would promote the transformation of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and remove the goods related to Chiang Kai-shek in the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall store from the shelves and stop selling. When the store is opened and closed, the playback of the "Chenggong Memorial Song" must also be stopped. In fact, there are many tricks to de-Chang Hua, which is far more than just pushing the bronze statue.
●The bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek that cannot be demolished
In 2007, on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the expiration of the "228 Incident", the late "legislator" Cai Tongrong, "Green Committee" Xue Ling, Zhuang Hezi and others pointed out that the defense department inspected all the camps at that time and found more than 200 bronze statues of Chiang Kai-shek. But Chiang is the culprit of the "228 Incident" and should bear the greatest responsibility. Cai and Xue therefore proposed that the defense department require the defense department to remove all bronze statues of Chiang Kai-shek in the camp within the time limit before February 28 of that year.
In 2017, the Legislative Yuan passed a temporary proposal by Democratic Progressive Party’s “Legislators” Zheng Baoqing, Cai Yiyu, Zhuang Ruixiong and others, requiring schools at all levels to demolish the bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek and truly implement historical education. Relevant "legislators" believe that Chiang Kai-shek is a typical dictator, comparable to Hitler and Mussolini as human rights abusers. Zheng Baoqing even said bluntly: "The Germans will not put the bronze statue of Hitler on campus!"
●Shared at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
In 2006, Cai Tongrong, Xue Ling, Zhuang Hezi, and the "legislator" Luo Zhiming of the Front Taiwan Federation proposed a joint signing to rename the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to the Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall. I hope that the ruling Democratic Progressive Party authorities at the time could accelerate the name change of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
In 2016, "The Power of the Times" and "Legislator" Xu Yongming proposed to transform the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall into a museum of resigned leaders.
● "Medal" is not let go
In 2016, DPP "legislator" Huang Weizhe once proposed to rename the "Zhongzheng Medal". He believes that the "Zhongzheng Medal" is named after Chiang Kai-shek, and the history is controversial, and those who were awarded may also feel it is heavy and does not conform to "transformation justice."
●Taiwanese army should withdraw from the Chiang Mausoleum
In 2016, when the DPP legislator Liu Shifang was questioning the "Legislative Yuan", he mentioned that the Taiwan army was guarding the Chiang Mausoleum garrison. She questioned "Why do you need to guard two dead people?" She asked the Taiwanese army to withdraw from the Chiang Mausoleum. Liu Shifang believes that since Chiang Ling is a historical relic, it is left to future generations to pay tribute, it should be handed over to the tourist unit for processing.
●Brainingly, " New Taiwan Dollar "
In 2017, the "legislator" of the Democratic Progressive Party Gao Zhipeng said on the eve of the Lunar New Year, "Now there are idols and even dictators who are worshipped by Sun Yat-sen and Chiang Kai-shek on the banknotes, and the coins are also big. Some friends say they are tired of seeing it. Should they change it?" Gao said that the process of designing the new Taiwan Dollar paper money should be achieved through the participation of the people to build social consensus. (China Taiwan Network Gao Xu)
