The reason for writing this article is because I saw a Taiwanese program, a Chinese teacher who has taught for 34 years, a cultural scholar, and two young college students in Taiwan, discussing the issue of classical Chinese.

Among them, young people themselves confess that they and their classmates sometimes don’t even know the most basic idioms, and teachers and cultural scholars have a language confrontation with the importance of classical Chinese and ancient poetry.

Chinese teacher’s view is: Taiwanese students’ understanding of classical Chinese and ancient poetry has declined sharply, and the essays they write are even nonsense. When his daughter was in the first grade, she asked her to memorize "Three Hundred Tang Poems", and he also corrected that there were 311 poems. Only when a child has a certain reserve of classical Chinese and ancient poetry can he give people a sense of culture and literacy in his words and deeds.

. Cultural scholars have also emerged in a lot of modern famous scholars. Why do we have to trace the origin and absorb nutrition from the difficult ancient texts? It can also be used to refer to Han Kuo-yu's modern poems as well as to touch the audience.

And I think the sentence answered by the Chinese teacher is really exquisite: "HTM2 Yu Guangzhong's works are also transformed after he absorbed the nutrition of ancient poetry? This is why we trace the origin!"

Taiwan society does not attach much importance to Chinese ancient poetry and culture. On the one hand, the rulers intentionally cut off the conscious form from the mainland. On the other hand, families and schools feel that compared with employment, learning classical Chinese and ancient poetry has no immediate results, so they are unwilling to invest more time and energy.

Putting aside the exams and scores, is it important for ancient Chinese classical Chinese and ancient poetry?

I think it is very important, and I want to illustrate its importance from my personal growth experience.

When I was six or seven years old, I had just had a certain understanding of new words and words. At that time, every night, I would clamor for my dad to tell stories. He took out a book " Three Character Classic " from somewhere. The Three Character Classic page is a symmetrical line divided into two halves, the left half is four sentences, and the right half is a complete story. When my dad tells stories, I listen to them with relish. Occasionally, I ask my dad.

Later, the vocabulary was greatly expanded, so I read it myself. From this, I learned that Meng Mu moved three times, knew that she had hanged beams and thorns, knew that she had thorns, knew that she had stolen the walls and stole the lights, knew that Kong Rong gave the pears, knew that Heshi Bi was the history; until now, I can still recite one-third of the length without passing through my brain:

"A man was born good in nature, his nature was similar, his habits were far away. If he did not teach, his nature would be moved. The way of teaching was to be specialized. In the past, Meng Mu chose a neighbor, but his son did not learn, and he broke the loom, Dou Yanshan, had a righteous way, taught his five sons, and he was famous, but he did not teach, and his father's fault, his teaching was not strict, his teacher's laziness, his son did not learn, and his young master did not learn, and what is the old man's "

Looking at these familiar words, I can recall the stories that followed, and recall the scene where my father taught me to recognize words word by word, tell me stories, and explain the meaning.

When I was in the third and fourth grades, my father moved in the unit. He brought back some of his own books, useless notebooks and other things from the unit, all in two large cartons. At that time, I was curious, so while my dad was not at home, I poured out all the things inside and found an old desk calendar.

A piece of green iron sheet with a fixed calendar on it. What’s more interesting is that the front of each page is the date, and the lower part has an idiom written. When you turn it over, you will draw a small picture of on the back, and with the story of the origin of the idiom and what it means in modern times. So I learned what is arrogant, what is a soldier, what is a fire in the city gate that can cause fish to suffer.

Later, in the fifth grade, I accidentally discovered a martial arts novel at home and forgot what it was called. This time I was quite troublesome to read. You can also look up dictionaries if you don’t know the words, but some ancient words or idioms are missing. What impressed me most is that I once asked my father what the meaning of “two plum blossoms, one branch each represents one branch”.My dad explained that there are two story lines that appear at this story, first putting one story and mainly telling another story.

When I arrived in junior high school, my Chinese scores were actually not outstanding, but I especially like to memorize classical Chinese and think the parallelism is neat and rhyme is very interesting. When I was in the second grade of junior high school, there was an article in the text of Liu Zongyuan's "Little Stone Pond" by . Now I still open my mouth:

Walking west from the hills by 120 steps, across the bamboos, and hearing the sound of water, like a ring of pendants, and my heart is happy. When you cut bamboos and go to the road, you will see a small pool below, and the water is even more clear. The whole stone is the bottom, and the shore is close to the shore. The bottom of the stone is rolled out, which is a twig, a island, a twig, and a rock. The green trees are covered with green vines, and are swaying and swaying.

The fish in the pond can have a hundred heads, all of which are like swimming in the sky and having nowhere to rely on. The sunlight is clear and the shadows are spread on the stone. It was still moving, and suddenly it passed away, and it was coming and going. It seems to be having fun with the traveler.

At that time, I felt that this was very interesting and it was written very vividly. Usually, I learned to go to the bamboo forest not far from my house to stroll around, listening to the birds' chirping and blowing on bamboo leaves, and I like it very much.

When I was a student, I particularly liked four ancient poems.

The first song is Su Shi's "Jiangchengzi·Dream on the 20th day of the first month of Yimao"

Ten years of life and death are inseparable. Don't think about it. Unforgettable. A lonely grave that has nowhere to talk about is desolate. Even if we meet, we will not recognize each other, and our faces are covered with dust and our temples are like frost.

I came to Youmeng suddenly returned home at night. Small window. Dressing up. Looking at each other, there are only tears flowing thousands of times. I expected that the heartbreaking place every year is in the bright moonlit night, and the pine hills are short.

Why do I have such a deep impression of Su Shi’s poem?

This book is an elective text at the end of the text, and does not require memorization or learning; the text requires memorization of another poem by him, " Niannujiao·Chimian Nostalgia ",

The previous second was: "The river goes east, the waves wash away, and the eternal heroes."

The next second is: "Looking at each other is speechless, but tears flow thousands of times."

Because I have seen the story of Su Shi's growth before, I suddenly thought that he and his wife, Wang Fu , were very in love, and even though my career was ambitious, it was derogatory again and again.

As a result, my wife also left me a few years ago. Thinking about the ups and downs of the past few years, I finally tossed and turned late at night, not falling asleep. My longing for my wife could no longer be suppressed. I burst into tears and stood up and waving my tears through the back of the paper. I wrote: "Even if I meet, I don't know my face and my hair is as dusty as frost."

This is my own experience of Su Shi's writing this poem at that time. Through a few simple lines of poetry in front of him, he can communicate with the great writers who were thousands of years ago. It is really a wonderful thing.

The second song is Mao Zedong's "Qinyuanchun-Snow".

This poem was written by me when I was in the fifth grade of elementary school. I accidentally saw it on TV. Three actors who played Chairman Mao Zedong recited a poem in Hunan dialect. I don’t know what it was called, but it sounds quite powerful. I only vaguely remember "Qin Huang and Han Wu" and "I only know how to bending the bow and shooting the eagle."

At that time, there was no computer at home and the mobile phone was not popular. At night, I asked my father if he knew what poetry it was. Unexpectedly, my father knew, so he immediately found a pen to write down "Qinyuanchun-Snow" and recited it in front of me in his dialect-style Mandarin. I laughed at him directly.

The scenery of the north is frozen thousands of miles away and snow falls.

Looking inside and outside the Great Wall, there are only the vastness; the river is rising and falling, and the river suddenly loses its surging surging.

The silver snake dances in the mountains, and the wax figure is galloping, trying to compete with the heavens.

It must be sunny day, and you can see the red dress and it is particularly enchanting.

The country is so beautiful that it attracts countless heroes to compete for their backs.

Regret the Qin Emperor and Han Wu, slightly inferior in literary talent; Tang Emperor and Song ancestor were slightly inferior in style.

A generation of geniuses, Genghis Khan, only knows how to bending his bow and shooting eagles.

is all gone, and counting the romantic figures, and looking at the present day!

Then I took the poem written by my dad, walked and circled in the living room, and memorized it in half an hour.Think about it now for a simple purpose: pure love!

At that time, after reading the poem, I felt that my whole head was filled with the heroic scenes of heavy snow, great rivers, and the war between the two armies and thousands of horses. It seemed that they spanned a thousand years and felt the magnificent changes in the vast history, and I couldn't help but feel a little excited.

The third song is Zhang Ruoxu 's "Spring River Flower Moon Night"

Spring river tides are connected to the sea level, and the bright moon on the sea is full of tides.

roars with the waves for thousands of miles, where is the spring river without the moon!

The river flows around the fragrant dwelling, the moon shines on the flowers and forests all look like sludge;

The frost flows in the sky without feeling flying, and the white sand on the ground cannot be seen.

The river and sky are all color without dust, and the lonely moon in the sky is bright.

Who sees the moon for the first time by the river? When did the moon in the river shine?

Life has been endless from generation to generation, and the rivers and months are only similar every year.

Why do you like this poem?

First of all, this person's name makes me feel very culturally literate. I feel that the literal meaning is as if things are illusory, but they may also exist.

The second reason is that I have already entered high school, and there are two contradictions between political materialism and idealism. The concepts of the main contradiction and the secondary contradiction, the movement of things have been exposed to a lot, so naturally I have had many indescribable feelings about "Who is the first to see the moon by the river? When is the moon in the river shining? Life has been endless for generations, and the moon in the river is only similar every year."

Zhang Ruoxu wrote such a classic, and has dialectical thoughts in it. When I read it, I feel that I enjoy the state of dialectical thinking. Although the "single article suppresses the whole Tang Dynasty" is a bit exaggerated, it really makes me love it.

The fourth poem is the ending song "Manjianghong" of the "Song of the Song Dynasty" that was being broadcast at that time. The high-pitched recitation in the previous paragraph made me unable to stop.

How many are there in the ages?

How many are there? The soul of grievance sighs

empty look in the world

clusters of sorrow

crying blood flies and worms laughing at the sky

lonely sails stack shadows lock white chain

waning moon rises suddenly. The strong wind

blows away all the time

rushing rain bottomless stream

rushing to the other side

rushing to the other side

struggle to clear the clouds fog

sank the hearts of the ministers

sacrificing ghosts and never fighting

Look at the setting sun The earth is

Turn from the beginning

crying blood flies and laughing at the sky

lonely sails stacked shadows and white chains

rises suddenly, and the wind is rippling suddenly

The country pacifies the hearts of ministers

drive away ghosts and never stop fighting

watch the setting sun shiny sun

turn from the beginning

"Manjianghong" is actually the name of a song, which is equivalent to the fixed melody of a song now. According to this fixed melody, the accurate name should be "Manjianghong - Avatar". The Song lyrics written by a contemporary scholar are no less than those of the ancients a thousand years ago!

This is the charm of Chinese culture, which is why among the four ancient civilizations in the world, the current Indians no longer know their ancient characters. The sky garden of ancient Babylonian is submerged in the dust of history, and only the sphinx and pyramids remain in ancient Egypt.

However, in the development of modern society, China's classical Chinese and ancient poetry have not only been lost but shining brightly and reborn; it has provided a strong cultural foundation for the development of modern China and given the Chinese people strong cultural confidence; and the foundation of all this is in the historical development of China for thousands of years. Countless Chinese sages condensed the precious wealth of Chinese culture, and as Chinese characters have given generations of Chinese people profound cultural nourishment.

In the Book of Songs and Spring and Autumn Period, in the Analects of Confucius and Mencius, in the Qin Ci and Han Fu, in the Tang poetry and Song lyrics, in the " Records of the Grand Historian " and "Twenty-Four Historians", every article, every paragraph, every sentence, and every word in it is the essence of the Chinese people's hardships and scrubs the sand for thousands of years, and is a priceless wealth worthy of every Chinese being proud of.

These thousand-year-old nouns and sentences are like round pearls, scattered in the vast sea of history, waiting for you and me to pick them up;

These thousand-year-old gorgeous poems are like shining stars, hanging high in the deep starry sky of Chinese characters, waiting for you and me to touch them.

Then, the importance of ancient Chinese poems and classical Chinese is self-evident.
