Interestingly, within just two days after the reservation was opened, the orders for N⁷ had exceeded 15,000. This figure is actually more than the annual sales of pure electric cars in Taiwan in the past two years. After receiving 15,000 orders, Nazhijie immediately closed the reservation channel. It is incomprehensible to close the reservation under such a "hot" situation.
anyway, NZJN⁷ can still achieve such "excellent" results without seeing the actual car and obtaining relevant test data. It can only be said that the slogan of "Million-in-One-Electric SUV" that the official shouted was very successful. But don’t forget that what they call “million” is the millions of NT$, equivalent to RMB 223,200.
To be honest, the development progress of N⁷ is still a mystery. Even the local media located in Taiwan have never seen its test car driving on the road. The reason why N⁷ releases the car is not only expanded its product matrix, but is more produced to cater to the trends of the times. According to official statement, NZEN⁷ is expected to start delivery work in the second half of 2023.
As for the issue of 15,000 orders, since the Hon Hai Model C was unveiled last year, the official announcement of range and other information has not appeared on the pre-order web page of Nazhijien⁷. The price is within one million and the pre-payment of 1,000 yuan (NTD) is the only car-related information on the pre-order web page.
Interestingly, the precautions on the pre-order website state that it doesn’t matter if you regret paying the deposit. You can apply for a full refund within 3 months from the day of formally obtaining the appointment right. If it exceeds 3 months, you must deduct 20% of the handling fee and refund the remaining amount. This also shows that the booking volume of Nazhijien⁷ has nothing to do with the number of real "probable car owners" users. After all, after the deposit is refunded, the number of orders will not be reduced.
Finally, although Nazhijie has withdrawn from the domestic market for many years, it is still criticized by netizens as the titles of "mobile gas station" and "gas station partner". Most of the reasons are related to their backward technology, sales model, etc., and it is only a reason for the final withdrawal from the domestic market in a down-and-out manner.
Now, Nazhijie has launched a pure electric model called n⁷, trying to open up new worlds in Taiwan. From my perspective, it seems to be more like another Evergrande Auto.
