Hon Hai Technology Day 2022 (HHTD22) will be available on October 18. Hon Hai released its official propaganda today (28th). This year's HHTD22 main visual, with the 2022 representative color periwinkle blue, and the smog sense shown by the green fluorescent color, gradually bringing out an immersive virtual scene, combined with the digital encoding of 0 and 1 on the background, presenting an instant visual sense of integration of virtual and real.
Hon Hai said that continuing the "3+3=∞" activity spindle, this year we specially matched the "∞" symbol with the light dot online image of satellite links, highlighting that Hon Hai takes electric vehicles as the core, and further extends the application display of low-orbit satellites, autonomous driving, automotive software and semiconductors.
Chairman Liu Yangwei, previously stated that in 2022, two new cars will be launched. As expected, one of them may be an electric pickup truck. Since Hon Hai has cooperated with Lordstown, a new North American electric vehicle manufacturer, in 2021 and developed its Endurance electric pickup truck, Hon Hai may launch related products on this basis.
As for the second new car, it may be the Model B. Unlike the Model C, which has a length of 4,640mm, a wheelbase of 2,860mm, and is positioned as a 5+2-seat medium-sized leisure traveler, the Model B locks a wheelbase between 2.45 meters and 2.6 meters, which is the entry-level market commonly known as the small and medium-sized and medium-sized spacing in the Taiwan market. It is also the mainstream market-level spacing for RV and cross-border leisure traveler. Moreover, Model B will also adopt a modular design, which can adapt to customer needs in the future and develop diverse appearances such as RVs of different sizes, hatchbacks, or crossover SUVs.
