At around 14:41 on November 23, police from the command center of Yanji Branch discovered a small ordinary bus with a license plate of Ji HJ9*** through video patrol. They parked in the driving lane 91 kilometers on the Hunwu Expressway. Then they began to reverse and drove into the ramp from Yanji North toll station. Many passing vehicles avoided it, which was particularly dangerous. After the police at the station entrance intercepted the car, the police asked the driver why he reversed. The driver said that he forgot to reversal the expressway. He pulled his wife from the map and prepared to get off the expressway from Yanji North to return to Longjing City. As a result, he drove around accidentally and immediately parked the car in place to determine the route and reversed back. The police then informed the driver of the dangers of reversing on the highway, and the driver Han also said that he was all blamed himself and he really regretted it.
According to relevant laws and regulations, the police fined Han 200 yuan for his illegal act of reversing on the highway and 12 points for his driver's license.
Expressway Public Security Tips: If you walk the wrong way on the highway, don’t stop or reverse. You can continue driving forward, drive away at the next exit, and then turn around and return to your destination. Although you have walked a little more, it is safer!
