Quantifeed Editor's note: The China-centered Asian private financial management market will be the next gold mine explored by fintech startups!
On Thursday, wealth management platform Quantifeed announced that it had received a US$4.5 million Series A financing, led by well-known venture capital PGA Venture Partners. According to Ostrich Radio (WeChat: Ostrich FM), the Hong Kong-based fintech startup plans to use its latest round of investment to accelerate expansion in the Asia-Pacific market, especially in the mainland Chinese market.
Co-founder and CEO of the company Alex Ypsilanti said in a statement:
If you want to win a battle in the digital wealth management industry, you must rely on a system with strong distribution capabilities and customer experience. Currently, we are working with some of the top financial institutions in Asia to help them experience a perfect "customer investment journey". PGA Venture Partners has invested in many successful startups before. This time we cooperated with them in the hope of bringing the financial products developed by Quantifeed to the mainland Chinese market.
Quantifeed was founded in 2013 and its two co-founders are Ypsilanti and Ross Milward, both former investment bank executives. Quantifeed is a white-label automated investment platform that allows banks, securities firms and financial planners to bring a "digital investment experience" to its clients. ( Note: White tags are borrowed from the financial industry. For example, some companies engaged in financial transaction services such as foreign exchange must use bank databases and bank support, so this bank is a white tag service for these companies. )
At this stage, the Quantifeed platform has gained very good industry advantages in the next wave of private wealth growth in Asia. They have integrated three executive brokerage firms to help their clients invest in mainstream financial markets around the world. In addition, Quantifeed also provides other financial services, such as asset allocation, thematic investments, and other trading strategy support.
PGA Venture Partners Venture Partners is headquartered in Shanghai and focuses on investing in financial technology and education technology startups in the early stages and growth stages of the world. At the same time, they will help the companies they invest in enter the Chinese market and create an entrepreneurial ecosystem with complementary advantages.
