VN-A544 were safe, and both aircraft were temporarily grounded for technical evaluation.
According to the aviation circle, the two aircraft involved have aged 5.7 years and 4 years respectively.
According to the scene, one of the wing tips of an aircraft were obviously broken.
Representatives of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, airlines and relevant institutions arrived immediately after receiving the incident news to ensure the normal operation of the airport and investigate the incident.
YueJet Airlines said that the airline has temporarily grounded its crew and coordinated the aviation authorities to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident, and reviewed the aircraft operation process and handled according to regulations.
The director of the Vietnam North Airport Administration said that the initial cause of the accident may be the fault of the crew. Therefore, the Northern Airport Administration has obtained a pilot license for the flight crew. The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam has set up an investigation team to investigate the incident.
This is the second side collision accident at Hanoi Airport within 1 month. Earlier, on November 2, two Airbus A321neo of Bamboo Airways collided, one of which was slightly damaged and the other partly damaged the cockpit. The investigation results show that the accident was caused by the tow driver improperly pushing the plane. The Northern Vietnam Airport Authority has imposed administrative penalties on the tow truck drivers in the above incident.
