China News Service, October 14th. According to Taiwan's United Daily News, at around 6:50 am on the 14th, a classroom suddenly came out of smoke. The Changhua County Fire Department dispatched 9 vehicles of various fire trucks and 15 people to the scene to rescue. It was found that the classroom water dispenser was suspected to be smoking, and the fire was immediately extinguished. Fortunately, the student teachers had not arrived at the school at that time, and there were no casualties at the scene.
The school pointed out that when the security guards arrived at the school to check this morning, they found smoke coming out of one classroom. They quickly informed the fire department that students will be arranged to attend classes in another subject classroom in the next two days, which will not affect the class.
Firefighters immediately put out the fire at around 7 a.m. on the 14th. The initial estimate of the floor area of the burning floor was about 1 square meter and the property was lost NT$5,000. It was initially found that the water dispenser in the classroom was severely smoked and the ceiling was blackened, but it did not affect other classroom hardware. The detailed cause of the fire remains to be investigated.
Firefighters pointed out that people will not unplug the plug when they use water dispensers when they are not in use, but the heating rod may be empty or get damp and leak. It is recommended that if they are not used for a long time, they should unplug the power plug to avoid accidents.
