Regarding the 2016 election, the DPP shouted the goal of "'President' is elected, the 'Legislative Yuan' is more than half", and the registration of the "Legislative Yuan" party primary election will be ended on March 6.
Tse Changting, who is also an advisor to the DPP’s Election Countermeasures Committee, said yesterday afternoon before attending the Central Standing Committee meeting that he persuaded Su Zhifen to run for the “legislator” of Yunlin County’s first constituency on the morning of the 4th, and Su Zhifen also agreed to register for the primary election.
Xie Changting said that the Kuomintang candidate in the constituency is Zhang Jiajun, the daughter of former Yunlin County Mayor Zhang Rongwei, who is very strong. Su Zhifen just stepped down as county magistrate, and has a sense of responsibility and mission. If she comes to the election, the possibility of being elected will be much higher.
Tse Changting said that in the "legislator" election, there are only 43 non-hard constituencies in the DPP. If the DPP wants to be more than half of the "Legislative Yuan", it must work very hard in almost every constituency and launch very good candidates.
