China Taiwan Network July 5th Japan Foreign Minister Toshiki Motegi announced at a regular press conference on June 25 that he would provide additional 1 million doses of AZ vaccine to Taiwan, which is expected to be by mid-month. Tsai Changting said that Taiwan’s so-called “representative office in Japan” is actively handling the documentary work of Japan providing Taiwan’s vaccines. Tsai Changting said, “This time it is skilled and faster than last time. Because some documents can also be used this time, it goes smoothly. We will report relevant information to you again.”
In response to Japan’s aid to Taiwan vaccines, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin once said that he hopes the relevant parties will effectively implement the original intention of aiding vaccines to save lives and do not be obsessed with political shows.
Wang Wenbin said that the mainland and Taiwan are blood-connected families. We empathize with the severe epidemic faced by our compatriots in Taiwan and have always made it clear that we are willing to do our best to help them overcome the difficulties as soon as possible. For the sake of its own political self-interest, the DPP authorities continue to engage in political manipulation in anti-epidemic cooperation.
