How to apply for Thailand electronic arrival visa (E-VOA)? This nanny-level tutorial is about to be completed!
Step 1: Provide application details and upload necessary files
You can submit your application through the VFS website. The first step in applying for E-VOA is to register on the website. Provide all required information and upload necessary files. If you are a minor, you may need to upload additional files.
Important Notes:
In this step, you must select the country based on the passport you hold. If you have dual nationality, you must select the nationality of the passport you will use to travel.
The passport you used to apply for must be the same as the passport you used when you went to Thailand. If it is different, then your E-VOA will be invalid.
Your passport shall be valid for at least 30 days from the date of your arrival in Thailand. The passport should have at least 1 blank page for Thai immigration officer to stamp
The only travel document that can be used for the E-VOA application process is your ordinary passport. E-VOA application does not accept other travel documents.
Every traveler must obtain an individual E-VOA, including infants and children. E-VOA applications can be created for one person or a family (minimum 2 applicants, up to 10 applicants).
When you apply for an E-VOA, please make sure that the information you provide is exactly the same as the information on your passport, otherwise your E-VOA will be invalid and you will not be able to receive a refund. After the E-VOA is processed, the information provided cannot be changed.

Please note that in order for your Thai E-VOA application to go smoothly, you need a stable internet connection. If your connection is unstable, an error message will be prompted for security reasons.
Step 2: Pay online
After providing all the necessary information, you must pay the fee through the payment gateway. You can pay with Mastercard, Visa, UnionPay credit/debit card or WeChat or Alipay. The card does not have to be in your name. Make sure your card has a "3D security system" and can conduct international transactions.
Step 3: Download E-VOA Receipt
If the fee is paid successfully and your application has been processed using pre-approved E-VOA code, you will receive a pdf file containing the decision. You can download and print your E-VOA for reference. We also recommend that you keep a copy of the PDF file in your phone.
