The Collectionist Hotel has become the world's most popular internet celebrity hotel, blogger, fashion idol, and topic master since its opening. You must have seen these scenes as fashionable social platforms as you can know. Located in Sydney , Australia, it has 39 uniquely designed rooms and lobby spaces, and these unique designs are the result of the creativity of 7 designers and 13 artists from 4 design firms.
Everyone can choose cars and bags that they like colors and brands. Why can’t hotels have such flexibility and autonomy? sure. The hotel founder Daniel Symonds, based on such doubts, has drawn inspiration from the inspiration for traveling car rentals and created this unique art hotel.
Daniel Symonds invited four design companies to jointly create, namely The world is Round, Willis Sheargold, Amber Road and Pattern Studio. After the designers conducted preliminary creations, 13 artists created art based on specific themes, which fit the design of the guest room, allowing each guest to have a beautiful artistic experience.
Daniel Symonds invited the most popular local photographers to take a set of magical promotional photos for the hotel. Since then, this hotel has become a themed photography project for photography enthusiasts to compete for.
The founders of the hotel Daniel Symonds and Toby Raphael invited designer Andrew Cliffe to plan the appearance and feel of the entire hotel, and made a clear request: I hope that all rooms can be different. In the end, chief designer Cliffe invited 4 design firms to design 10 rooms for each firm, and also found local artists to use their artwork to decorate the rooms.
Hotel founder Daniel Symonds said: "Customers who come here can freely choose the room type according to their preferences. Through a unique and casual artistic experience, they can get extraordinary spiritual travel. 39 different designs and creativity can make guests fall in love with it deeply."
With the cooperation of all designers and artists, this unique collector hotel was finally formed. The four design firms are The World is Round, Sydney design studios Amber Road, Willis Sheargold and Pattern Studio.
Amber Road
Amber Road is a local design firm in Sydney, composed of two female designers, Yashine Ghoniem and Katy Savlbe. They designed the room with stylish trendy elements, stylish color schemes and bold combinations are the most popular rooms in the entire hotel.
Pattern Studio
Pattern Studio was founded in 2016 and has been active in retail, fashion events and residential design for 2 years. It was co-founded by designers Josh Cain and Lily Goodwin.
Willis Sheargold
The studio Willis Sheargold, founded by Susie Willis and Matt Sheargold, has a very modern design style and is good at using various simple elements to bring surprises.
