Taiwan’s four “referendums” cases, including “anti-Laos pig imports”, “restarting nuclear fourth”, “cherishing algae reefs” and “referendum-bound elections”, will be voted on December 18. Once passed, it means that the majority of people in Taiwan cast a vote of distrust to the DPP authorities, which will pose a "destructive blow" to the DPP. In order to protect themselves, the DPP authorities have made every effort to block the "referendum". While using the interests of the people at the cost of the people and in exchange for support from external forces, they are manipulating "anti-China and Taiwan" and slandering the mainland as "behind the scenes manipulators." The DPP authorities colluded with external forces and maliciously incited cross-strait confrontation, which was doomed to suffer shameful failure.
"Referendum" issue is essentially a people's livelihood economy, and is distorted and hyped by the DPP authorities into a "political issue." What's more, except for the "Nuclear Fourth" item, the rest are all claims and promises before the DPP came to power. Now that the DPP is in full power, it is openly playing with the "double standards", slapping itself in the face and standing opposite to public opinion. Taiwanese people obviously don’t buy it. According to polls disclosed by various parties on the island, the proportion of Taiwanese people’s approval of many “referendums” cases is significantly higher than that of opposition. The DPP authorities ignored mainstream public opinion and dispatched all staff from top to bottom, filling in the "anti-referendum" propaganda standards, using all the resources of the authorities to carry out "brainwashing propaganda". Su Zhenchang, head of Taiwan's administrative agency, clamored that Taiwan's use of international standards as pork import norms is a space for expanding economic and trade negotiations, "The United States, cattle and pigs are safe, and Taiwan-US economic and trade are even more forward." Chen Jizhong, the chairman of Taiwan's "Central Committee of Agriculture", compared pigs with lepids ( clenbuterol ) to humans eating health food, which is ridiculous.
In addition to deceiving the public "Laisa Pig" to eat with confidence, the DPP authorities have also tried their best to exaggerate the serious consequences of refusing to eat. They distorted the "anti-La Pig" into "anti-American pigs", and threatened to refuse to eat "anti-La Pigs" to make "Americans very angry". Green media have hyped up, and American scholar Ge Laiyi posted a message during a video conference with DPP backbone Zhao Yixiang, Zhao Yixiang, who held a video conference on "The Impact of Referendum on Taiwan-US Trade" that if the "anti-La Pig Referendum" passes, causing Taiwan to restrict the import of US meat again, it will "severely slaughter Taiwan-US relations", and no trade agreement between the two will make progress.
As we all know, the United States has made a series of actions such as frequent visits by lawmakers to Taiwan and “support” without saying goodbye, all of which are from the strategic intention of “using Taiwan to control China” and asks Taiwan for “protection fees”. The DPP authorities are willing to be the sucker, purchasing US copper and iron at high prices, which harms and deceives the public to accept "pigs". This is not only a poison to quench thirst, but also a murder for money. On the one hand, it consumes Taiwan's public finances a lot, but also threatens the lives and health of Taiwanese people. The so-called "support" of the United States is also destined to be a false thing.
What's even more ridiculous is that the "referendum" is obviously mainly initiated by the private sector of Taiwan, and the content has nothing to do with cross-strait issues. However, the DPP authorities used their usual tricks in every election and played the "anti-China and Taiwan protection" card. Green media slandered that "the reciprocal statements were initiated or participated by the Chinese Communist Party, and included information manipulation, which affected the views and positions of the Taiwanese people on the referendum." They also quoted Japanese "Sankei Shimbun" Taipei Branch Director Akio Yachi, saying that many underground radio stations in Taiwan were "buyed" by the mainland and have been attacking the Democratic Progressive Party and the "Four Major Referendums".
A familiar scene happened during the 2019 Taiwan election mobilization period. Overseas anti-China element Wang Liqiang spread rumors about the "Spy Spy Case". The DPP used this to slander "The Kuomintang and the Communist Party joined forces to intervene in the general election" and suppressed Kuomintang members such as Han Kuo-yu to seek election benefits. Recently, the case ended with the judicial authorities not prosecuting, and the relevant persons were also cleared. The DPP once took office through despicable means, but now it has no regrets and never apologized.
Taiwan media criticized it, only asking about color, not right and wrong, and applying red and smearing black has gradually become a pill. As long as you oppose the DPP, you will all be "pro-China and sell Taiwan". No matter how bad the DPP's governance is, it can be concealed and ignored.The DPP always calls for "anti-China and Taiwan" to get away with politics by manipulating politics.
