The center of this year's 8th Typhoon "Van SG" (strong tropical storm level) is located at 8 am today (4th) on the northwest Pacific Ocean surface about 230 kilometers southeast of Kagoshima, Japan. It is 27.6 degrees north latitude and 22143.2 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is level 10 (25 meters/second), the minimum center pressure is 985 hPa, and the radius of the seventh-level wind ring is 200-380 kilometers.
It is expected that "Vansgao" will continue to move northwestward at a speed of about 25 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the ocean south of Japan, with the intensity gradually increasing, with the strongest reaching the typhoon level (level 12, 33-35 meters/sec).
