On the morning of April 18, 2019, the groundbreaking ceremony of the ultra-large-size TV polarizer project (Line 7) of Shenzhen Shengbo Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. was grandly held at Shenzhen Pingshan District Shengbo Optoelectronics Technology Park. Shenzhen Textile (Group) Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Jinjiang Group Co., Ltd., Ridong Electric Co., Ltd., Kunshan Zhiqimei Materials Technology Co., Ltd., China Electronic Systems Engineering Second Construction Company, as well as other project cooperation units, company partners and relevant leaders and representatives of Shengbo Optoelectronics attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
Chairman Zhu Jun of Shenfang Group delivered a speech on the start of the project. He first summarized and interpreted the background and prospects of the construction of the Line 7 project, and put forward guidance and requirements for the construction of the Line 7 project. He emphasized that project construction is a century-old plan, with quality first; safety must be ensured during the entire construction process. On the premise of ensuring quality and safety, costs should be reasonably controlled according to the construction nodes of the project, so as to create a high-quality project. He hopes that in the next construction process, Shengbo Optoelectronics will work closely with relevant units and work hard to ensure that the project is completed as scheduled. Shengbo Optoelectronics and commander-in-chief of Line 7 project, also delivered a speech on the official start of the project. General Manager Li Jiang expressed his sincere gratitude to leaders at all levels, shareholders of both parties, cooperative units, partners, industry colleagues and project construction teams who care about and support the Line 7 project. At the same time, he said that he would unite with the relevant units of the project construction and work hard to build the Line 7 project into a high-quality and efficient high-quality project.
Mr. Zhou Fei, a representative of Jinjiang Group, and Mr. Li Nan, chairman of China Electric Power Second Company, also delivered speeches on the start of the project. On behalf of Jinjiang Group, Mr. Zhou Fei congratulated and expressed his expectations for the start of the project; Chairman Li Nan guaranteed the human resources, financial support and safety and quality of the project construction, and expressed that the engineering team has confidence and ability to complete the construction project with quality, quantity and safety and efficiency.
At the subsequent groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman Zhu Jun of Shenfang Group unveiled the foundation stone. The leaders of Shenfang Group, Jinjiang Group, Shengbo Optoelectronics and China Electric Power Second Company held golden shovels to jointly lay the foundation for the project. Against the backdrop of the excavator queue and amid the solemn salute, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Line 7 project was successfully completed.
In recent years, with the rapid development of China's electronic information industry and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, products such as flat-screen TVs, smartphones, tablet computers and LCD monitors have increasingly shown huge market potential. With the construction of a large-scale high-generation TFT-LCD panel production line in mainland China, mainland China will become the world's largest TFT-LCD panel production base in the future.
Shengbo Optoelectronics has broken through the technical barriers of the polarizer products for TFT-LCD, mastered the production process and technical secrets of the mass production of polarizers for wide-format TFT-LCD, and accumulated rich management and production experience, creating a management team and technical team with strong technical strength, long cooperation time, rich experience and an international perspective.
Shengbo Optoelectronics Line 7 project is currently the second polarizer production line in the world with a width of more than 2500mm. It has a high technical content. I believe that with the strong support of leaders at all levels and shareholders of both parties and the close cooperation of relevant units of the project, the Line 7 project will definitely be put into production smoothly.
