The railway department has further optimized and adjusted the transportation organization plan to better meet the people's growing needs for a better travel and market demand.
First, optimize the public welfare "slow train" operation plan. We will continue to drive 23 pairs of public welfare "slow trains". For the 18-train EMUs running on the -Harbin-Jiangsu High-speed Railway, Harbin-Macau High-speed Railway, and -Harbin-Jia Railway, the fare for all-time EMUs will be subject to discounted policies, with the maximum discount of 55% off, meeting the needs of intercity short-distance travel and spring tourism. The 7 pairs of EMU trains from Harbin to Chaoyang in Chaoyang, Beijing will continue to implement the discount policy for the initial stage of opening. The discount range is the Beijing-Chengde section of the Beijing-Harbin High-speed Railway, with a discounted fare of 55% off at the lowest interval, allowing passengers to share the dividends of railway development.
Fifth, improve the capacity for cargo transportation to serve economic and social development. According to the transportation needs of key materials, 5 freight trains have been added in major freight channels such as Beijing-Harbin, Tongrang, and Pingqi, and 16 freight trains have been added to the cargo transportation lines within the management, especially for sections such as Funen, Nenglin, Yimin, and Jiafu, which have tight capabilities, trains have been arranged by making full use of the non-operating time of repairing sunroofs, and every effort has been made to improve freight capacity.
