If you click on the link, your personal information will be leaked, giving criminals an opportunity to take advantage of it!

Criminals disguised themselves as staff members of the "Central for Epidemic Prevention and Control" or "Hospital Commission" and lied that the health code/test report/epidemic investigation was abnormal and asked you to go to the public security organs to verify. After breaking through the victim's psychological defense line, he took the initiative to transfer the phone to the "Public Security Bureau" and defrauded money on the grounds of investigating funds and clearing suspicion.

Epidemic prevention staff will not ask for personal privacy information that is not related to epidemic prevention and control when conducting epidemic investigation ( epidemiological investigation ), they will not ask for personal privacy information that is not related to epidemic prevention and control, will not send any link or QR code, nor will they ask the person under investigation for bank card number, password or verification code and other information, nor will they ask the person under investigation to join the QQ group or WeChat group for any reason, nor will they ask the person to transfer money and conduct so-called "fund verification" for any reason. Once you encounter such a situation, be vigilant and do not believe it easily.
2. Express positive claims fraud

At the same time, the other party guided the victim to scan the QR code or download the APP on the grounds that he could provide claims, and tricked the victim into filling in his bank card number, verification code, payment password and other information in the software, thereby defrauding money.

Such fraud methods ultimately fall into the "online shopping refund" type telecommunications fraud . When you encounter the so-called "customer service" who claims to "refund compensation if there is any problem with express delivery or order" through any non-original purchase channels such as telephone, text messages, WeChat, etc., you must not trust it easily. At this time, you should return to the original purchase channel, or call the official customer service number of the express company and contact the staff to verify the situation. Do not scan unknown QR codes or download software, APPs of unknown origin, etc., and do not disclose personal privacy information at will.
3. Impersonating the "epidemic investigation officer" to promote special medicine
Some criminals claim to be "a director of the prevention and control center" and called to inform residents that there was an abnormality in health code and the test report, which may have been infected with the new coronavirus pneumonia. Moreover, the other party would reveal on the phone that there is a special medicine for treating COVID-19 , which only costs 5,800 yuan for 3 courses. If you insist on taking it every day, you will recover from health.

There is currently no special medicine for treating COVID-19. Don’t believe in so-called special drugs, pay close attention to the official information released, don’t believe in non-professional medical institutions, and online transactions should be on a formal online shopping platform.
4. Nucleic acid detection fraud
Scammers usually pretend to be epidemic prevention personnel and call to say that they are abnormal travel itineraries of the masses. They may be close contacts or second-contact contacts, and they will ask them to scan the QR code provided by the other party to make an appointment for nucleic acid testing on the grounds that the system error has made a mistake.Subsequently, the victim's bank account money was transferred. Some criminals also sent mass messages as "persons of the epidemic prevention agency" and lied that they could quickly detect nucleic acids. For example, WeChat chat records show that criminals say "quickly release nucleic acid test results", "extend as fast as half an hour", "can also do nucleic acid tests at home", and provide door-to-door delivery services or delivery to the train station exit, etc., so that buyers can pass the report with reports.

The nucleic acid test results in my country are issued by a qualified hospital or a third-party testing agency certified by the health department. There is no so-called "fast channel" for nucleic acid testing at all. Don't trust the gossip on the Internet and the so-called "private channels".
