The original fields, greenhouses, and lakes in front of the door have all become attractions. Many people in the village also rented out the houses and made them into B&B and and farmhouses.
"I'm very proud to see the village change so much. Many tourists told us that I envy you so much that I can live in such a beautiful place!" Chen Xiaojing said with a smile.
The gorgeous transformation of the rural attractions is due to the comprehensive transformation of the Ringcheng, Hualian villages and more than 5,000 acres of land in Xihu District. "In the past, there was a washing factory in front of the house and a printing and dyeing workshop behind the house. The house was blocked by colored steel tiles. The sun was not visible on the first floor for a year, and the nearby rivers were black and smelly." Zhang Fengkun, a villager in Raocheng Village, recalled.
