1. Basic application materials :
(I) Passport: The original passport with a validity period of more than 6 months and a blank visa page and a copy of the personal information page.
(II) Visa application form and photo: 1 "Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" and 1 recent, frontal, colored (light background) passport photo pasted on the application form. (III) Legal stay or residence certificate (applicable to non-British citizens ): Original and copy of valid certificates or valid visas for legal stay, residence, work, study in the UK.
(IV) Original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (suitable for those who have had Chinese nationality and later joined a foreign nationality): If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you must provide the original Chinese passport and a copy of the passport photo information page. If you have obtained a Chinese visa and apply for a visa with a newly issued foreign passport, you must provide the personal information page of the original foreign passport and a copy of the Chinese visa you have obtained (if the name recorded in the new passport is inconsistent with the original passport, you must also Provide proof documents about the official name change).
(V) Certificate of COVID-19 vaccination (if any).
2. Acceptance scope:
* Apply for an emergency humanitarian visa. If you go to China to attend a funeral or visit a critically ill patient, you must submit the ID of the deceased or critically ill patient (such as Chinese ID card or foreign passport, etc.), death certificate or hospital The diagnosis certificate issued, critical illness notice , kinship certificate and other materials.
3. Acceptance method: All visas above
must be filled in online through the China Visa Application Service Center website (https://www.visaforchina.org/) and make an appointment, submit the application to the visa center at the agreed time and keep it Ten-finger fingerprints, minors under the age of 14 and adults over the age of 70 do not need to go to the visa center to obtain biometric information. For specific procedures, certificate application requirements, time limits and charging standards, you can consult the visa center directly.
4. Diplomacy, official service, gift visa applicants must go through the online form filling system of the China Visa Application Service Center website, fill in and print the application form in advance, and do not need to make an appointment, and submit the visa application directly through the Visa Application Center.
5. Foreign citizens apply for visas to Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions in China, and can submit their applications directly during the office hours of the visa center, without making an appointment.
6. Other types of visa applications are not accepted yet.
