As early as 2012, teacher Chen Gu had rebuilt an old building in the mountains of Anji as a design office, leaving a few rooms to temporarily escape the noise of the city. It wasn’t until 2017 that Lian Qing was born.
Curtain Green is taken from the phrase "The moss marks on the steps are green, and the grass color enters the curtain green" in "The Inscription of the Humble Room". The site is located 3 kilometers away from Lingfeng Temple, an ancient temple in Anji, and the mountain behind Curtain Green is Chengu. The location of the primary school retains the feel of this genius' "hometown". The green curtains add a "youthful atmosphere".
Nowadays, many B&Bs Muji or Instagram style have become the mainstream, but Chen Gu has truly returned to nature.
