Shortly after the opening of trading, the Hang Seng Index rose rapidly to 2%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index once rose by 3%. Near noon, the gains of both narrowed.
In the afternoon, the gains of the Hang Seng Index and the Hang Seng Technology Index expanded again. As of the close, the Hang Seng Index rose by more than 2%, returning to above 20,000 points, and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose by more than 3%.
Today, the net inflow of funds going south was HK$2.026 billion, and the market turnover was HK$88.9 billion.
On the market, technology stocks and the Internet medical sector rose, Alibaba rose more than 5%, Ali Health rose more than 8%. CXO concept stocks , Apple concept stocks and education stocks performed strongly, New Oriental Online rose nearly 9%, and BYD Electronics rose nearly 10%.


Education stocks surged
Tianli International Holdings rose nearly 5%, Minsheng Education rose more than 3%, and Yuhua Education rose nearly 3%.
New Oriental Online surged straight up. It once rose by more than 10% during the session and closed up by nearly 9%. The stock price returned to above HK$20, and the total market value once again exceeded HK$20 billion.

Technology stocks were among the top gainers
Bilibili rose nearly 6%, JD.com and Alibaba rose more than 5%, Xiaomi and Baidu rose more than 4%, Meituan, Tencent and Kuaishou all strengthened.


CXO concept stocks rose
Asymchem rose nearly 8%, GenScript Biotech rose nearly 5%, WuXi Biologics, WuXi AppTec rose more than 4%, Tigermed rose nearly 3%.

Apple concept stocks rose
BYD Electronics rose nearly 10%, Gaowei Electronics rose 9%, Sunny Optical Technology rose more than 6%, and Fuzhikang Group rose 4%.

In terms of individual stocks , BYD shares rose nearly 3%. BYD announced that sales of new energy vehicles in July were 162,500 units, compared with 50,492 units in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 221.89%.
