On the afternoon of June 15, the 12th Tianjin Congress of the Communist Party of China held a preparatory meeting.
Comrade Li Hongzhong presided over the meeting. The
meeting voted to adopt the list of delegate qualification review committee, the list of the conference bureau, the list of conference secretary-general and the conference agenda, and approved the organizational structure and work tasks of the conference secretariat.
The agenda of the 12th Tianjin Municipal Congress of the Communist Party of China is:
1. Hear and review the report of the 11th Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China; 2. Review the work report of the 11th Tianjin Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China ; 3. Election of the 12th Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China; 4. Election of the 12th Tianjin Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China; 5. Election of Tianjin representatives to attend the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
On the afternoon of June 15, the Presidium of the 12th Tianjin Congress of the Communist Party of China held its first meeting. The
conference was first hosted by Jin Xiangjun, Secretary General of the conference. The meeting voted and approved the list of the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the Conference. After the
Presidium Standing Committee was formed, the meeting was chaired by Comrade Li Hongzhong. The
meeting voted to adopt the list of deputy secretary-generals of the conference. The meeting heard and voted to adopt the review report on the qualifications of representatives of the 12th Tianjin Congress of the Communist Party of China on the qualifications of representatives.

The Representative Qualification Review Committee believes that the representative election work of the city's 242 electoral units is in compliance with the provisions of the Party Constitution, the spirit of the Central Committee and the requirements of the Municipal Party Committee. The 780 elected representatives meet the conditions for representation and their qualifications are valid. The
meeting voted to adopt the "Election Measures for the Twelfth Tianjin Congress of the Communist Party of China (Draft)" and submitted it to all delegations for discussion; the list of attendees and the list of invited guests were approved. The meeting approved the conference agenda. According to the schedule, the 12th Tianjin Congress of the Communist Party of China will open on the morning of June 16 and close on the morning of June 20. The meeting also approved a report on the collection, use and management of party dues under municipal administration and submitted it to all delegations for review.

The meeting heard a report from the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee on the preliminary review of the qualifications of representatives to the Twelfth Congress of the Communist Party of China in Tianjin, and reviewed and approved the "Report on the Qualifications of Representatives of the Twelfth Congress of the Communist Party of China in Tianjin by the Representative Qualification Review Committee" (Draft)" was submitted to the first meeting of the presidium of the conference for adoption.
