On July 22, the official website of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Railway Group ) announced the central government’s decision to adjust the official position of the China Railway Group.
Lu Dongfu no longer serves as chairman and party secretary of China Railway Group. Liu Zhenfang, currently the director of the National Railway Administration, takes over as the chairman and party secretary of the National Railway Group, and is relieved of his duties as a member of the party leadership group of the Ministry of Transport, director of the National Railway Administration, and party secretary.
In addition, Yang Yudong no longer serves as director, general manager and deputy secretary of the party group of China Railway Group, and will be replaced by Guo Zhuxue.
Lu Dongfu was born in 1955. He is 67 years old this year. He has worked in Shanghai Railway Bureau for many years. In 2003, he was promoted to the then Deputy Minister of Railways. In 2013, Lu Dongfu served as deputy minister of the Ministry of Transport and director of the National Railway Administration until he resigned in 2016, and then became general manager of China Railway Corporation.
During Lu Dongfu’s tenure, the railway system successively implemented the corporate reform of the Railway Bureau, the internal institutional reform of the Railway Corporation, the corporate reform of its affiliated non-transportation enterprises, and the internal institutional reform of the Railway Bureau Group Company.
In June 2019, China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., which was restructured from China Railway Corporation, was officially listed in Beijing, and Lu Dongfu became the first chairman of China Railway Group.
During his tenure, Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway , China Railway Special Cargo, Golden Eagle Heavy Industry, Tieke Rail and other railway companies were listed; high-speed railway began to implement market-oriented floating fares; Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway, The speed of five lines including the Chengdu-Chongqing High-speed Railway and the Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway Beijing-Wuhan Section has been increased or restored to 350 kilometers per hour.
's successor Liu Zhenfang was born in 1961 and is 61 years old. He is currently a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Transport, Director and Party Secretary of the National Railway Administration, and is responsible for the overall work of the National Railway Administration. Since joining the workforce in 1983, Liu Zhenfang has worked in Beijing Railway Bureau, Kunming Railway Bureau, Nanchang Railway Bureau and other units.
From March 2017 to November 2019, Liu Zhenfang served as deputy general manager and member of the party group of China Railway Corporation (later China Railway Group). In November 2019, he became director of the State Railway Administration.
Yang Yudong, who resigned as general manager of China Railway Group, is 54 years old. From December 2016 to December 2018, Yang Yudong served as deputy minister of the Ministry of Transport and director of the State Railway Administration, and then served as director, general manager and deputy party secretary of the China Railway Group. The
announcement did not disclose Yang Yudong's whereabouts, but Jiemian News learned that Yang Yudong will go to work in a new unit and may not continue to work in the railway system.
Guo Zhuxue, who took over the position of general manager of China Railway Group, is currently the deputy general manager of China Railway Group. He is 56 years old this year. Guo Zhuxue previously worked in the Beijing Railway Bureau, the Transportation Command Center of the Ministry of Railways, the Nanchang Railway Bureau, the Shanghai Railway Bureau and other units. He has served as the deputy general manager of the China Railway Group since May 2018.
