On December 3, police from Gudang Police Station captured the suspect Aqiang in a community in the north of the city.
Aqiang was born in 1995. His hometown is Ningyuan, Hunan. After graduating from university, he worked in a network technology company.
Due to heavy work and financial pressure, Aqiang came to a KTV at around 113 pm on October 19 to relieve his depression. He had a dispute with the store over the consumption of drinks in the private room.
After negotiation between the two parties, the store offered a discount and Aqiang paid 1,300 yuan. During the period of
, Ah Qiang added the WeChat account of Mr. Li, the shareholder of KTV. Afterwards, Mr. Li accompanied Aqiang in the box and drank a lot of wine.
Before leaving, Mr. Li helped Aqiang to the door.
After leaving the KTV, Aqiang felt more and more uncomfortable because of the cold wind. He saw a red Mustang parked downstairs. This Mustang was exactly the same as Mr. Li's WeChat avatar.
Aqiang believed that the Mustang belonged to Mr. Li, so Aqiang picked up stones on the roadside and started to draw the car, including the left and right doors, hood, door glass, etc.
After paddling, Aqiang left the scene and went home on the shared bicycle as if nothing was wrong.
Mr. Li discovered that the car had been scratched and reported it to the police. After identification, the red Ford Mustang sports car had multiple scratches on the front hood, left and right door surfaces, right door glass, and rear spoiler. The repair cost 21,600 yuan.
After investigation some time ago, Gudang police captured Aqiang the day before yesterday (December 3).
Police asked: Why do you need to paddle?
Aqiang said that he was in a bad mood at the time because he drove impulsively after drinking because of a previous consumer dispute.
Aqiang expressed regret and was willing to bear the loss of the car owner.
Because Aqiang’s financial situation is really limited, he communicated with the car owner, Mr. Li, and compensated 10,460 yuan, and obtained Mr. Li’s understanding.
At present, Aqiang has been released on bail pending trial.
Police remind: It is even more undesirable to drown your sorrows with alcohol and to vent your anger and cause trouble after drinking. The consequences of a moment of pleasure may be serious.
