Dihai Fengcai Hall in Kaiping City is also known as "Mingxian Yuzhongxianggong Temple", referred to as "Mingxian Temple". It was built in the 32nd year of Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1906) and completed in the 3rd year of the Republic of China (1914). It was built by people with the surname Yu in Kaiping and Taishan to commemorate their ancestor Yu Jing, a famous official in the Northern Song Dynasty. It adopts a Lingnan courtyard layout with three courtyards, six courtyards and fifteen halls, with a total area of ​​5364 square meters.

There are a large number of stone and wood carvings in the ancestral hall. The top floor is a European castle-style building and various Roman-style round bars. The lower end is in the traditional Lingnan style, combining Chinese and Western styles. It is one of the representative architectural masterpieces of Kaiping's overseas Chinese hometown.

Since ancient times, there have been three ports in Kaiping, namely Changsha Port, Dihai Port and Xinchang Port. Since the three ports of Changsha, Dihai and Xinchang are separated by Tanjiang River, just like Hankou, Hanyang and Wuchang in Wuhan, people call these three ports "Little Wuhan". Sanbu is an old port. Its geographical location is in the west of the Pearl River Delta and is the throat leading to western Guangdong and Guangxi. Therefore, merchants from Jiangmen and Guangzhou came here to do business in ancient times. During the Republic of China, Sanbu was the largest commercial center in the middle and upper reaches of Tanjiang River.

When the ancestral hall was first built, the temple and the temple were integrated into one, with the ancestral hall in the middle and the school on the east and west wings. Today it is Kaiping Fengcai Middle School.
