The protagonist we are going to talk about today is Wu Dalang (Song Wenhua) in "Water Margin". He didn't have much of a role in "Water Margin", but he acted very well.
Speaking of Wu Dalang, we may all think of his signature - Wu Dalang Shaobing; and the well-known Wu Dalang's very beautiful daughter-in-law "Pan Jinlian".
Song Wenhua was born in Shijiazhuang, Hebei in 1955. In fact, there are many fighting scenes in "Water Margin", but no one knows real martial arts. Song Wenhua is one of the very few.
Because he is naturally short, he can only play a few special characters, such as Wu Song in our "Water Margin" and the earthly father-in-law in "The Fairy Match".
Although Song Wenhua is short, his identity is actually not simple. He is a national first-class actor, a former member of the Beijing Workers' Martial Arts Team, and a winner of traditional martial arts competitions. Now after he has played the role of Wu Dalang, he has opened a "Wu Dalang Snack Shop".
