NBA2K Company announced today that Michael Jordan will appear on two covers of "NBA 2K23". Jordan will appear on the cover of the "Michael Jordan" version of NBA 2K23, while his signed jersey will appear on the cover of the "Champions" version.
Alfie Brody, NBA 2K vice president of global marketing strategy, said in a statement: "After making 23 the most recognizable number in sports, it's only fitting that we launch the Michael Jordan version of NBA 2K23."
"Additionally, we are very excited to launch the new premium version of NBA 2K23 Champions Edition because no other player embodies the word 'championship' like Jordan."
Jordan has been the cover athlete of NBA 2K three times. He first appeared on the cover of NBA 2K11 as the spokesperson for the "Jordan Challenge." NBA 2K23 will reintroduce this game mode.
NBA 2K23 will be officially released on September 9, local time.
