Command car No. 25 is the car of Captain Boden of the 51st Fire Brigade, and its call sign is "Battalion 25". The first Command Car No. 25 that appeared in "Chicago Fire" was a 2001 Ford Expedition. The latest command vehicle No. 25 currently in the show is the 2010 Ford Explorer. Command car No. 25 is basically Captain Borden's special car. In the past eight seasons, basically no one else in the fire brigade has ridden in this command car.
Ambulance No. 61 is a 2004 Ford/MedicMaster Type I ambulance. Before participating in the filming of "Chicago Fire", this ambulance was a real ambulance of the Chicago Fire Department, and its real-life code name was "Ambulance No. 47." Ambulance No. 61 is equipped with an advanced life support (ALS) system and has two passengers. The No. 81 ladder truck has gone through a generation change in the 51st Fire Brigade. The original ladder truck No. 81 is a 1996 Seagrave Marauder ladder fire truck . The vehicle is equipped with a telescopic ladder and can accommodate up to 8 firefighters.
Currently in the 51st Fire Brigade, Matt Casey is the leader of the ladder truck, and the driver is Stella. The members of the ladder team also include Mucci and Gallo, in addition to Mills, Cruz, Jimmy, Gabby, Herman, Otis, and Ritter were all members of Cloud Echelon. Before Otis' death, he was the driver of Ladder Truck No. 81. This truck is equipped with 1250GPM. Water pump, 200-gallon water tank, and 110-foot ladder. In order to make this car a prop car for the eighth season of "Chicago Fire", the crew gave the car a new paint job according to the standards of the Chicago Fire Department.
At the celebration party for the 100th episode of "Chicago Fire", the 100th episode celebration cake was in the shape of the No. 81 ladder truck, which shows the important position of the No. 81 ladder truck in the 51st Fire Brigade.
Rescue vehicle No. 3 is a heavy-duty rescue vehicle. This is a 1989 Spartan Gladiator Saulsbury heavy-duty rescue vehicle. Before becoming a prop vehicle for the "Chicago Fire" crew, this fire truck was a special vehicle for the Chicago Fire Department Hazardous Materials Response Team 511 and was retired from active service in 2003. In fact, in the first and second seasons of "Chicago Fire", the crew has been using two heavy-duty rescue vehicles of the Chicago Fire Department for filming. During the filming of the second season, the crew of "Chicago Fire" received this 1989 Spartan Gladiator Saulsbury heavy rescue vehicle from the Antioch Fire Brigade. The crew repainted the heavy rescue vehicle and has been using it ever since. Used until now.
In the drama "Chicago Fire", the No. 3 rescue vehicle was used many times by the 51 Fire Department and Chicago Police Department as a human shield to perform collisions and block gunfire.
