Later I learned that Taitung also has a hot air balloon carnival, which is held every July and August. During this trip to Taiwan, I made the Taitung Hot Air Balloon Carnival a must-see. Due to Typhoon Nibert, which caused heavy damage to Taitung, hot air balloons were grounded for more than ten days and finally resumed sailing on July 17. I rushed to Luye Gaotai on this day to participate in this grand event.

Due to air flow, hot air balloons will only fly between 5:30-7:30 in the morning and 17:00-19:00 in the afternoon. Compared with the evening, the air flow in the morning is smoother. , in order to find good shooting effects, I took the shuttle bus to Luye Plateau at around 4 o'clock in the morning. When I arrived at about 5 o'clock, there were already many people at the scene, so I climbed directly to the mountain to find a relatively good shooting location. At sunrise, while waiting for the hot air balloon to be inflated, I went to the back mountain to watch the sunrise.
