[Global Network Report Reporter Chaxi] According to Singapore's "Lianhe Zaobao" news on May 9, female senator Grace Fu, who ran for president of the Philippines, admitted defeat. Nearly 80% of the unofficial vote count has been completed, showing that Duterte, the favorite, continues to lead and is expected to win an overwhelming victory.

It is reported that Duterte told the media in Davao City that Grace Fu called him to admit defeat.

Among the five presidential candidates, Grace Fu is currently only ranked third in vote share, behind Roxas, the candidate recommended by Duterte and President Aquino.
