Mr. Chen had heard of "foot-picking men" who pretended to be beautiful women to fall in love with people online. In the case of money, I asked to video chat with my "girlfriend". After seeing that the picture in the other party's video was indeed his own, Mr. Chen confidently sent a red envelope to his "girlfriend" and transferred more than 3,000 yuan back and forth. But within a few days, the "girlfriend" proposed to break up with Mr. Chen on the grounds of personality incompatibility and deleted WeChat.

If Wang has no time to chat with the victim, Zhang will "fill in" in time and log in to WeChat for a seamless conversation. The two will also analyze the victim's property and profile the character, in order to defraud the victim of all his money in the fastest and most effective way. However, because the methods of committing crimes are hidden, many victims still do not realize that they have been deceived after losing money.
After further investigation, the police found another victim, Cai. After he met Zhang once, he was asked for more than 30,000 yuan on the pretext of asking for betrothal gifts. According to the investigation, the criminal suspects Wang and Zhang have defrauded others of more than 100,000 yuan on the pretext of making friends and falling in love since June 2020.
