According to Zheng Wencan, the person in charge of 1860 Cultural and Creative Park, since the first fair was held in 2015, the Creative Park has held seven large-scale fairs and numerous small fairs.

In order to increase the freshness of the market for tourists, the Creative Park always arranges half of the number of new stallholders, and the old stallholders often bring fresh items, attracting many tourists to watch.

The stall owner of the " Comic Life Handicraft Workshop" stall, Sister Mantou, is an art teacher at a high school in Chaoyang. She has participated in creative fairs for several consecutive years and set up stalls. Every time she creates some new themed handmade works. This time at the "Qifu" market, she brought a package of cream glue materials. "Lay the material on a flat surface and use colorful cream glue to fix the filling," she explained while picking up a work on the table. "This encourages parents and children to work together to create the desired picture decoration."

"Guanchao Film Festival" provides a "collision space" for filmmakers

"Guanchao Film Festival" is a local film festival organized by a group of young Chaoshan filmmakers. It was founded in 2016 and has been held since then. Held for 4 consecutive years. On the evening of the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, the fourth "Tide Viewing Film Exhibition" was held this year at the 1860 Cultural and Creative Park, attracting nearly 300 citizens. Four short film films with different styles were screened at the film festival: "Spring Rain", "Inside and Outside the Door", "Haunting" and "Return".

The creators of these four short films are all fashionable young people who studied in Beijing, Taipei, London and Hong Kong respectively. These Chaozhou young people went to other places to study, received local film education, and then brought foreign culture back to their hometowns to create works that combine several cultural genes. After the screening of the

short film, directors Huang Gang, Chen Jianhang and Xu Mingshan communicated with the audience on site. The three directors shared their academic experiences and sources of creative inspiration, as well as details during the creative process such as casting and life on set.

"These short films have a lot of Chaoshan elements, and they look very good."
