1. Common problems:
Floor heating floor stones are hollow
2. Cause analysis/standard requirements:
1. The ground is not leveled before installing floor heating;
2. The material of the floor heating pipe and the floor heating cushion are soft and easy to deform;
3. The surface stone is too thin and the thickness Not up to standard;
4, the base construction is not up to standard, resulting in cracking of the base layer;
5, the thickness of the filling layer is insufficient, expansion joints are not set , the setting of steel mesh is unreasonable;
6, Cement mortar cannot withstand the hot and cold stress of heating pipes, and the excessive shrinkage ratio causes the cement mortar to separate from the floor tiles, thus forming a hollow;
7, maintenance is not in place.
3. Prevention/solution measures:
- In order to prevent the ground base from cracking, lay steel wire mesh before making the floor heating protective layer, and then carry out the protective layer construction;
- The thickness of the filling layer should be according to the "Technical Regulations for Radiant Heating and Cooling-JGJ142- 2012》3.2.7 (picture below); Expansion joints must be left when the floor heating installation project is longer than 6m;
- The stone, adhesive, insulation board and other materials used must meet the requirements, and the product can only be used after it is qualified;
- Filling layer thickness 3~5cm, set up 10*10m low carbon steel wire mesh sheets and tie them with heating pipes, and set up expansion joints every 6m;
- strengthen concrete curing. Cement hardens in a non-dry or humid environment, which can fully hydrate the cement particles, not only strengthen the hardening speed but also improve the surface strength, effectively preventing dry shrinkage cracks.
- After the stone is paved, the finished product should be protected and no one is allowed to use it within 3 days; wet mopping should be avoided during later use.
