Just the right age, a beautiful marriage, and a lovely daughter, this is the true portrayal of the owner of this case.
It is said that we must have a daughter in our life to accompany us as we grow old. In fact, this is not the case. It is better to say that a daughter will accompany us to forget about growing old and make us grow smaller slowly.
Although my mother is a teacher and my father is engaged in U.S. stocks finance, due to work reasons, they often do not participate in business.

But the presence of their daughter makes the home extra soft and warm, because they expect their little princess to have love and companionship.
They had lived in the United States for a long time. When they renovated their first home after returning to China, due to design errors, not only did they have serious lighting problems, but they also lacked space for family activities, which seriously affected the loving interaction between family members.
Therefore, after deciding to renovate this project, the owner had high requirements and standards and searched for professional designers many times, but nothing was satisfactory.
By chance, I saw the Xingjie construction site under construction in the same community, so I called and made an appointment to visit. After
entered Xingjie's construction site, the owner was very surprised because the situation was completely different from the last time he decorated the site. The workers were working in an orderly manner on the site. The site was clean and tidy, giving people a very standardized feeling.
So I immediately decided to continue looking at Xingjie’s design, and Xingjie entrusted the client to me based on the owner’s specific needs.
After receiving this case, in order to understand the needs of the owners in depth, I not only met with the owners every week to have in-depth conversations about their home needs, but also visited the homes where the owners currently live many times to understand their habits and habits in life.
In the end, I stood out among many designers from many companies. When I talked about the reasons with the owner, the owner said that only all the designs I planned were to serve the owner's life, instead of blindly adhering to the professional aesthetic of design.
This is what I have always insisted on. Design is for the residents rather than for myself. The owner's home is not a designer's work, which can be thrown away if they don't like it. It is a place where they will live in the future, and the residents must be able to live comfortably in the future space.
1,050 square meters of villa, in addition to providing private living space for the three owners, such as: a book bar where mom's favorite books are properly placed, a shoe room where dad's jerseys and sneakers are stored, and a secret space for the little princess to chat privately with her best friends.

Fitness area
The little princess practices fencing all year round, so she has particularly high requirements for exercise.
The original small sunken courtyard is closed with tempered glass material at the top, setting up an exclusive fitness area for the owner’s family. A few touches of green next to it add infinite vitality to the entire space.
When the soft sunlight in the early morning penetrates the glass roof and spills into the fitness area, the father and the little princess are sweating profusely on a multi-functional training bench, while the mother is opposite them, stepping on the exercise bike . A beautiful day starts with exercising together.
Walking from the fitness area to the indoor area, the first thing you see is the entertainment area, including table football and billiards.
In his free time, dad can have a hearty competition with the little princess and enjoy the youthful power brought by sports. It is also a good way to relieve stress.
Walking inside is the little princess’s favorite “fencing field”. There is no place for sword practice in the old house, so the little princess can only practice outside. When I was designing, I built a small "fencing field" specifically for her.
Deliberately aged arched ceilings, ivory white walls, old American pastoral chandeliers... Practicing fencing in such an environment makes you feel as if you are a knight defending this castle, full of motivation.
Although my father is sometimes not with me when I practice swordsmanship, I can see my father’s favorite jersey hanging on the wall when I turn sideways. This is probably the most loving interaction invisibly.

In addition to exercise that speeds up the heartbeat, we can also slow down, watch movies and listen to music with our family, and slowly feel the true beauty of life.
And the "video room" can give family time more fun. In today's epidemic situation, let the owners and their families enjoy an audio-visual feast without leaving home.
Under the dim light, the three of them can sit neatly cross-legged on the tatami , or they can lie comfortably on the massage chair, or they can casually nestle on the sofa, put on a happy comedy, immerse themselves in the cheerful sound texture and pleasant plot, and feel the poetry and distance of life with the people they love.
Behind the flow of light and shadow, there is either the happy parent-child time or the sweet moment of lovers relying on each other.
Here, you can project Steven Spielberg , James Cameron , Quentin Tarantino ... classic film and television works into the audio-visual room, feel the memory of light and shadow with your family, recollect the precipitation of the years, and completely relax and enjoy yourself.

Family activity area
Everyone is an independent individual. Only by communicating more can we shorten the distance between hearts, and the same is true for family members.
The owners are a loving family and hope that they and their little princess can communicate in a space full of life style. Therefore, when I was making the plan, I specially created a family activity area for them.
When entering the family activity area, people will first notice the bar counter in the corner, the dark green and ginger wooden high chairs, and the American simple three-color refrigerator, which are inexplicably harmonious.
Here, you can prepare a favorite drink for your family, and then each family member holds the drink and moves to the TOGO sofa designed by Ligne Roset in 1973. They slowly sink into the sofa, enjoy the warm winter afternoon sunshine, and chat about trivial matters in life, which is very comfortable.
Now that the construction of this project has begun, Xingjie Haipai Seiko will protect their new home and hope that their future life here will be infinitely warm.
