The power consumption of the heating rod is relatively large in relation to the heating water body, heat dissipation, room temperature and set temperature. The high-power heating rod is relatively more power-saving.
3. It is relatively more suitable to place the heating rod in a place with a large water flow, because it will dissipate heat more evenly.
4. It is more reasonable to place the mechanical heating rod in the water.
The reason is as follows:
A. After the water is heated, it will rise in the aquarium. If the heating rod is placed horizontally, because the temperature-controlled part of the heating rod (usually at the bottom of the heating rod, close to the bottom of the fish tank) feels a low temperature, so the heating rod will continue to heat, so the water temperature is generally higher than the set value.
B. If the heating rod is placed vertically and the water temperature rises after being heated, the heating rod temperature control directly feels the rising water flow, and the heating will stop.
C. Therefore, put the heating rod obliquely. After the temperature of the water rises, the water flow promotes the heat transfer to the water. When the temperature control is felt, the temperature in the fish tank is relatively uniform at this time.
So overall, it is most reasonable to place it slanted.
But this only refers to some slight differences in subtle discrimination. When we consider factors such as beauty and convenience, this difference can basically be ignored.
5. No matter what kind of heating rod it is, the safest way is to equip a temperature control.
Especially when the value of fish is relatively high, temperature control is equivalent to an additional insurance. With the temperature control of the heating rod, double insurance protection is achieved.
A heating rod is naked, and temperature control is the king.
6. According to the law of conservation of energy, variable frequency heating rods will not save more electricity. (The heating rod consumes electricity = the temperature heat needed to continuously maintain the water increase + the lost heat).
7. Some water environments are more power-consuming when heated, because the smaller the temperature threshold setting, the more stable the temperature control of the fish tank is, which is actually higher. The temperature difference that fish feels in such water is smaller, and it is actually more comfortable. (ps: Would you consider saving power or is it more comfortable for fish?)

Yihan heating rod is relatively long and it is shady to look at it in the fish tank. This is a headache for small fish lovers. However, it is precisely because of the length that the heating can be more even.
