The flowers and plants that have just bought home need to be kept quiet and must not make any trouble. . Do not repot the flowers sold in
Flower market. In order to save costs, merchants plant them in poor quality plastic pot . After buying it home, many flower lovers will think that the flower pot is not good-looking and want to change to a more beautiful flower pot immediately, which will be detrimental to the flowers and plants to adapt to the new environment.
The flowers I just bought have not adapted to the temperature, light, air humidity and other environments at home. Change the pot immediately. No matter how good the technology is, it will more or less damage some of the roots, making the originally fragile plants more sensitive and more difficult to adapt to the environment. Therefore, newly bought flowers cannot be replaced immediately. They must be kept at home for at least one week before they can be replaced after they adapt to the new environment. If the flowers you bought have blooming flowers, you have to wait until the flowers are completely blooming before repotting them.
2. Don’t burn strong
Most of the flowers and plants on the market are cultivated through greenhouses. The light in the greenhouse is much weaker than the natural sunlight, and the flowers and plants have gradually adapted to the weaker light. If we place the newly bought flowers directly on the balcony to bask in the sun, it will not be able to bear it and it will easily burn the leaves. Especially the flower seedlings purchased online have been transported in completely dark cartons for a long time. After arriving at home, they will immediately exhale strong light and may even die directly.
I just bought the flowers home, don’t rush to bask in the sun. The flower pot should be placed in a semi-shady place first, just have some scattered light, keep the environment ventilated, and rest for 3 to 5 days. After the plants slowly recover their vitality, gradually increase the light.
3. Do not fertilize, control watering
Flower merchants maintain flowers and plants in greenhouses. In order to maximize their rapid growth and maximize their benefits, they will use fertilizers regularly. When we bought flower potted plants, there was already a lot of fertilizer in the soil, and the fertility was enough for the plant to grow for at least 1 to 2 months. So there is no need to fertilize the flowers I just bought home. Fertilization not only cannot promote growth, but also increases the burden on the root system and causes fertilizer damage, resulting in dead leaves, falling leaves, black branches, and falling buds.
The flowers I just bought home must be watered regardless of whether the soil in the pot is wet or not, and water thoroughly. Place the watered flowers in a cool and ventilated place to slowly adapt to the environment. During this period, the root system is not active, cannot absorb too much water, and cannot water too much, otherwise it will easily cause large water and rot. To make the soil dryer, observe the pot soil before watering each time. If the soil surface is moist, there is no need to water it; only after seeing the soil surface white and dry, water it.
