1 Install and test the flow switch
There are various types of flow switches currently seen. Although the installation and operation methods of different flow switches are somewhat different, the general basic logic is still the same. The following is the basic installation method of most flow switches:

1. The flow switch should be installed on the right side of the pipe or air duct.
2. Make sure there are enough straight pipes before and after the installation position of the flow switch. The normal length of straight pipe should be greater than 10 times the pipe diameter.
3. Avoid installing or wiring flow switches near elbows, other fittings, valves, drain pipes, narrow or wide pipe sections, and any other features that could cause significant fluctuations in flow throughout the area. How to test the traffic switch after

In most cases, just observe the operation of the flow switch and check that the correct response is triggered when traffic starts or stops to confirm that the flow switch is working properly. In special cases, it may be necessary to use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance of the switch electronics and check that the entire circuit (or "continuity") is registered when the switch is activated.
To ensure the normal installation of the flow switch, please strictly follow the manufacturer's installation instructions for installation testing. If the flow switch is used in special industries such as fire protection systems and flammable and explosive media monitoring, the flow switch should also be checked regularly.
