1673年，Gulun Rongxian Princess was born as the third daughter of Kangxi, She was awarded the title of Princess Heshuo at the age of 19. In June of the same year, she married far away from Mongolia and married Uergun. In ancient my country, marriage was a common method. Many emperors used the name of marriage to win over vassals from all over the world. The reason why Princess Gu Lun Rongxian married Uergun was also a political reason. In 1728, the princess married to Mongolia passed away due to illness . At the age of 56, she completed her legendary life in this way. However, in the Qing Dynasty, people who could live to 56 years old were considered to have a relatively long life.
In fact, there were strict rules of etiquette in ancient my country. According to the etiquette, "Princess Gulun" must be a queen. This title is also the highest level among princesses in the Qing Dynasty. Princess Rongxian's mother is Concubine Rong, and it stands to reason that she can only be named Princess Heshuo. However, history books record that Princess Rongxian was deeply loved by Emperor Kangxi, so Kangxi made an exception in 1709 and promoted her to Princess Gulun Rongxian . This princess married to Mongolia was buried in Chifeng Balin Right Banner in Inner Mongolia after his death. The tomb of Princess Gulun Rongxian is very large. The entire ancient tomb is rectangular, 105 meters long from north to south and 45 meters wide from east to west. The entire ancient tomb covers an area of about 5,000 square meters. For a princess, these ancient tombs are already very luxurious. The overall layout of the ancient tomb is similar to that of Qing Dynasty architecture such as Lingyue Temple and Huifu Temple. There are east and west side halls in the tomb, the cooking room and mausoleum room on the east side, and the side hall on the west side is the room where sacrifices and officials worshipped the tomb are stored.
According to the introduction of archaeological staff, after 240 years of burial, the body of Princess Gu Lun Rongxian is still like a living person, and her skin still has a certain elasticity . What is even more surprising is that , when the princess was buried, even wore a golden phoenix crown and a dragon robe with pearls. The 150-centimeter-long pearl group dragon robe is exquisitely embroidered, and the eight dragons embroidered with gold threads through pearls are extremely spectacular. It is reported that there are about 100,000 pearls on it, and the gold thread is also very valuable. Due to the exquisite workmanship and expensive materials, the market value of this dragon robe has exceeded 100 million yuan, but it has now become a local ethnic cultural heritage.
It is worth noting that in ancient my country, only the emperor could wear dragon robe. In addition, the princess also has various expensive accessories such as gold bracelets and rings.
