Usually, when most people think of the impression of Buddhism, the word "quiet place" comes to mind. It is not polluted by the world, nor polluted by desire, only peace and tranquility.

The monks here pay attention to not being broken by the seven emotions and six desires. Desire and money are two different things to them. They cannot let external things affect their practice, but some monks cannot stick to their true intentions.

For example, 63-year-old Li Moujun (pseudonym) was the abbot of a temple before committing a crime. He is somewhat famous locally and is known as the "Eminent Monk".

When Li Moujun, a so-called "eminent monk", had sex with his mistress in the temple, he accidentally covered her to death in the bed.

In the end, the court heard and sentenced Li Moujun to 6 years in prison. Why was he only sentenced to 6 years for murder? Is it because of his status as an "advanced monk"?

What is the secret behind the case? Welcome to follow

It didn't take long for the two of them to develop an improper relationship between a man and a woman, often doing some indescribable things under the Buddha statue.

Later, more and more pilgrims came in and out of the temple, and Li Moujun also guided many people. On the surface he pretended to enlighten them, but secretly he had been lying to them.

The vast majority of these pilgrims are women. In the process of educating them, Li Moujun deceived them into accepting them as his disciples for various reasons.

After that, he took them to the meditation room to practice. He said it was practice, but in fact he was taking advantage of this opportunity. At first, he was still hindered by his identity and would only engage in physical contact at best.

Later, Li Moujun, who had tasted the sweetness, became increasingly unable to control his lust and had relationships with many female pilgrims.

Among them, there is a woman named Liu. She has her own family and a son, but her relationship with her husband is not good.

It even reached the point of divorce, but for the sake of the children, Liu did not choose divorce. In order to divert his attention, he concentrated on chanting Buddha's name.

However, Liu was just one of Li’s many followers, and Li did not notice her at first. Later, Liu went there many times, and they gradually became familiar with each other.

Liu told Li Moujun his dissatisfaction with his family and disappointment in life, and Li Moujun also used his own identity to comfort Liu.

Unexpectedly, after a long time, the two people actually had feelings that they shouldn't have. Liu doesn't care if he cheats, because she and her husband are already in name only.

And Li Moujun is not a law-abiding person, so they came together and developed into underground lovers. Li Moujun also claimed that Liu was his chief disciple.

Therefore, every time Liu came to the temple to burn incense, Li Moujun, the abbot, would personally receive him. Later, in order to teach the Dharma, he would take Liu to the meditation room and be alone with him.

During this period, Li Moujun also severed relations with other female pilgrims and focused all his attention on Liu. The female pilgrim Wang Mouli was very angry.

At first, people didn’t pay much attention to their solitude because Liu was a disciple of Li’s army, but after many times, they also discovered some problems.

Regardless of the status of master and apprentice, they are both a man and a woman. They live in a room alone and are very close. There must be something they can't see.

In order to maintain the reputation of the temple, after the people in the temple discovered the improper relationship between them, they privately suggested many times that they sever contact and quarreled over it.

but this is of no use. Later, Li Moujun took over the financial management of the temple. Taking advantage of his position, he gave Liu the money donated by pilgrims to the temple.

Li Moujun’s behavior harmed the interests of the temple and caused dissatisfaction among many people. The most angry person was the female pilgrim.

The female pilgrim felt that Li Moujun was not as good as her during her relationship with Li Moujun, which made her very jealous, so she wanted to find a suitable time to take revenge on Liu.

At the same time, she learned that Ye, a young monk in the temple, also didn't like Li's behavior, so she invited Ye to join her gang, and they decided to catch Li and Liu in bed.

53-year-old Liu came to the meditation room again and had a tryst with 63-year-old Li Moujun. The female pilgrim quickly discovered something and asked the young monk Ye to run over.

But when the female pilgrims opened the door, they found Liu lying motionless on the bed. The female pilgrim thought Liu was pretending to be dead, so she stepped forward and kicked Liu.

But Liu did not respond, and a large amount of blood flowed from his mouth and nose. The three people felt something was wrong and immediately called the emergency number and sent Liu to the hospital for treatment.

However, Liu lost his life while receiving treatment. Later, Li Moujun was taken away by the police. Facing the police interrogation, he explained the incident.

On the day of the incident, Liu came to the temple to see him and asked him for money. Li Moujun rejected Liu Mou on the grounds of temple construction project.

Liu was not happy about this and they had a dispute. Liu's voice became louder and louder. Li Moujun covered her mouth and nose for fear of being heard by others.

However, when he let go, Liu's situation was not optimistic.

In this case, Li Moujun and Liu Mou maintained an improper relationship for 20 years. On the night of the incident, he covered Liu's mouth and nose because he did not want to expose their adultery.

After Liu Mou's accident, he and the female pilgrim sent her to the hospital for treatment. This shows that he did not intend to kill Liu Mou, and his behavior was a crime of negligence.

Article 233 of " Criminal Law " stipulates: Whoever causes death due to negligence shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years;

If the circumstances are relatively minor, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years. If this law provides otherwise, such provisions shall prevail.

After Hu's death, Li Moujun found Liu's family and actively negotiated. Finally, he compensated 900,000 yuan and gained the family's understanding.

In the end, after the court heard the case, Li Moujun was sentenced to six years in prison for the crime of negligent death.
