1966, the beginning of the special period of ten years, Jiang Qing gradually became active, especially after the "Top Ten". As Wang Hongwen took a high position, Jiang Qing formed a "Gang of Four" with Wang Hongwen, Zhang Chunqiao and Yao Wenyuan, and did a lot of bad and wrong things. During that time, Jiang Qing also promoted some young cadres or set some "models", such as the Huang Shuai we are going to talk about today. She is the "anti-trend" model set by Jiang Qing. So, what stories does Huang Shuai have?
Huang Shuai was born in 1961, from Beijing, born in an intellectual family, his parents are both senior intellectuals of Nanjing University , and also a scientific researcher of Chinese Academy of Sciences . Born in such a family, Huang Shuai received a good education since childhood. After growing up, Huang Shuai entered Zhongguancun No. 1 Primary School in Haidian District.
Huang Shuai's parents have very strict requirements on Huang Shuai's learning. Under the training of their parents, Huang Shuai has also formed the habit of keeping diaries. At the same time, Huang Shuai has also developed the habit of thinking independently. During the process of receiving education, he has questioned some of the teacher's words. On September 7, 1973, Huang Shuai was in the fifth grade at the time. A classmate in her class violated classroom discipline. The teacher criticized the classmate severely and said, "I really want to knock your head with the teaching stick."
Huang Shuai recorded this in his diary that day and expressed dissatisfaction with the teacher's words, "I really want to knock your head with the teaching stick." In the diary, Huang Shuai recorded this: "The teaching stick is for you to teach, not for you to knock on the students' heads... I hope you will be patient and help your classmates' mistakes and pay more attention to their words."
Objectively speaking, Huang Shuai's advice to the teacher in the diary is very good, and he also pointed out the problems that the teacher has. However, after the diary was handed over to the teacher, the teacher called on the whole class to criticize Huang Shuai together. From October 13 to October 19, Huang Shuai recorded in his diary that he had "trained by teachers and classmates" many times.
On October 21, Huang Shuai wrote this experience to "Beijing Daily ". At the end of the letter, Huang Shuai put forward a point of view: "Does we teenagers still need to be slaves enslaved by the old education system's 'dignity of teachers'?" At that time, the letter happened to be seen by Jiang Qing's confidant Xie Jingyi. Xie Jingyi was as if she had received a treasure. Under Jiang Qing's planning, she specifically replied to Huang Shuai and instructed the Beijing Daily to publish Huang Shuai's letter on December 12.
December 28, under the promotion of Jiang Qing, the front page full text of " People's Daily " reprinted Huang Shuai's letter. Since then, Huang Shuai became a celebrity of that era. At the same time, actions to learn from Huang Shuai were also carried out across the country, and Huang Shuai was also set up by Jiang Qing as a "anti-trend" model. It is worth mentioning that Jiang Qing attaches great importance to Huang Shuai and even has plans to vigorously promote her.
On October 6, 1976, after smashing the "Gang of Four", a list of "Gang of Four" "Gang of Four" was found in Wang Hongwen's office. Huang Shuai's name was listed, and Jiang Qing intended to let her join the Communist Youth League to hold an important position. However, with the "Gang of Four" being crushed, Huang Shuai also returned to ordinary. After crushing the "Gang of Four", Huang Shuai was also under censorship. Not only that, her father, who worked in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was also arrested and imprisoned, lost his job, and was expelled from the party. After being censored for a period of time, Huang Shuai regained her freedom. In 1979, she took the college entrance examination and was admitted to Beijing University of Technology . However, as the newspaper reported on this, Huang Shuai also lost her qualification for admission. Fortunately, with the help of Hu Yaobang, she re-entered college.
In 1986, Huang Shuai went to Japan to study and was admitted to the University of Tokyo. In 1998, Huang Shuai returned from Japan and worked in Beijing University of Technology Press . Huang Shuai was in poor health and later suffered from illness. In 2017, Huang Shuai passed away at the age of 56.
