In addition to proving that Concubine Zhen is "inappropriate", what makes Concubine Zhen's crime worse is that she began to violate the Qing Dynasty's laws. When Concubine Zhen entered the palace when she was young, she was favored by thousands of people, and gradually became a little confused about the importance. At that time, the monthly expenses of the concubines in the harem were provided by quotas. For example, the queen had 1,000 taels per year, plus some silk, animal skin, meat, etc., and then it was reduced step by step. Concubine Zhen is generous by nature, and the people around her praise her according to her wishes. In addition, she likes all kinds of Western things, so her monthly salary is naturally not enough.
According to Hu Sijing's "National News" record, because he was close to Emperor Guangxu and was able to blow the "pillow wind". Concubine Zhen began to accept bribes and was appointed as an official. Once, she even received 440,000 taels of silver, and finally the story was revealed. In the end, Concubine Zhen and her sister Concubine Jin were punished with the punishment of " stripping her clothes and scepter ( take off her clothes and directly punishing the body ) . If there was no Eight-Nation Alliance invaded Beijing, would Zhenfei die alone in the cold palace ? No one knows the answer, because Zhenfei's life came to an end that year.
07The ending of many different opinions
One theory is that when the troops were at the city, Cixi took Guangxu to flee west. Before leaving, Concubine Zhen refused to leave, and argued with Lord Lao Fu and jumped into a good angrily. This statement comes from the recollection of Queen Mother Longyu . Considering that Empress Dowager Longyu has always been gentle and obedient, only Lafayette followed her statement, her statement may be doubtful.
Another saying is that Concubine Zhen was thrown into the well by Cixi. There are many memories of this statement, and this is the version that has won the most trusts so far. According to the memories of Cui Yugui , Zhenfei left the most impressive three sentences on him before she died : "I shouldn't die !" "The emperor didn't let me die !" "The emperor didn't let me die !" "You love to escape but don't run away, but the emperor should not escape !"
It can be seen from this that before his death, Zhenfei still had expectations for the emperor. And this is precisely the main reason why Concubine Zhen had to die.
